In 1918, Suomenlinna was used as the 2nd largest prison camp in Finland after our civil war, and prisoners who fought on the side of the Reds were subjected to unspeakable atrocities and random executions. Unfortunately the clip you found on youtube doesn't pronounce Suomenlinna entirely correctly, since the I is too long and the dual Ns too short. (Finnish dual vowels and consonants can be pretty difficult for a non native speaker to master). Here's a video where someone pronounces it correctly: kzbin.info/www/bejne/f4O2l6mIaJqXf7c And as for the way they did the cross sign, if you went to the Uspenski Cathedral, the Orthodox christians do it the opposite way from the Catholic way you're used to.
