Fantastic video! New subscriber here, first vlog I watch of yours was on KAL from NRT -ICN on a B787. Great footage too. Starlux is on my radar, hopefully they can fly from TPE-HNL. Especially, SIA's hard products such as their long-haul business class seats are now outdated. By the way, you asked the most difficult question for me to answer. haha I love the both airlines, but if I have to choose the between the two, I'd like to fly with JAL A350-1000😅

Love that the service was just as good as it was on your A350 flilght. Do you think they will disrupt legacy carriers like SQ, Qatar, Emirates or ANA/JAL etc? Great review as always.

Thank you, John. Starlux Airlines is a fast growing airline, but the airline has just 23 aircrafts in its fleet. Their focus is on Japan, US, and Southeast Asia, so I think the airline will not disrupt Middle East airlines such as Qatar and Emirates. However, I think, in the longer term, the airline may disrupt airlines of Asia such as ANA, JAL, EVA, and Korean Air, especially, on the transpacific route between Asia and US.

The first one I watch was Taipei to Bangkok the one you first rode in business class on A350 and now you finally ride A321 and also I think it has the same engine just like the A350 the Rolls royce or maybe pratt and whitney. Just flew Starlux's snoopy theme from SIN-TPE-SFO onboard JX772 and 12. I'm having a hard time deciding which flight was the best. If there's one thing they lacked in, it was their congee. But the rest - utter perfection. I must say I took Starlux 4 times and 4 out of 4 they impressed me.

Why Starlux doesn't fly to Europe or the Mainland?

Thank you for watching. I hope Starlux fly to Europe in the near future, but their focus is on the US, Southeast Asia, and Japan at present because of demand, and Air Traffic Rights. There are currently very very few direct flights connecting Southeast Asia’s 1.2 billion people to the US, so Taiwan’s position between the two makes it an ideal transit passenger hub. Due to the reason, the US and Southeast Asia are very important market to the airline in terms of profits.
