As someone who has been on CZ’s C919 flight between CAN and SHA only 3 days after the inaugural flight, I would say that CZ really put in a lot of efforts to make this flight a special one. They are using the highest standard of service, food & beverages and cabin crews, which is on par or somehow even better than its long-haul intercontinental flights. Nice to see this change but I’ve also mentioned to the crew on that flight that it would be really nice if all CZ flights can have this high standard of service.

Wasn't expecting champagne on short domestic flight, that's unreal. China Southern have come a long way, they used to serve budget sparkling wine in international first class. And good english by the crew for a domestic flight too, things have definitely changed in the last 10 years.

Cannot keep a good thing down. I have been in aviation maintenance for 30 years and in my personal opinion the c919 will be a serious challenge to the boeing product (737) . I do wish comac the very best and look foward to when certification is granted in the west.

Engines are powered by CFM International, a joint venture between GE and Safran of France. COMAC’s engine unit AECC (Aero-Engines Corporation of China) is developing its CJ-1000 for C919 as a second engine option. Also, its larger CJ-2000 engines will power the upcoming C929 aircraft alongside possible options from GE and Rolls Royce. All of the assemblies are done at is its Shanghai factory - just nearby Pudong International Airport.

Yes you are right, it is right designed like 737 or A320, bigger one called C929 is under developing to compete with A350/787, >10000 kilometers range. So this is COMAC plan, first design AR-21J small, then C919 larger, and C929 more larger.

Korea and Japan shall join China Comac projects for an Asia version of Airbus. China has the guarantee huge market for success. Japan and Korea can makes certain parts for Comac C919 and C929 and share profit between each others. While Korea and Japan will open up their airport for all Comac airplane to land. China Eastern Airlines is the pilot customer for C919 before China Southern, Hainan Airlines, Sichuan Airlines and Air China did. There are also orders from foreign aircraft lessors, but that needs certifications from foreign civil aviation regulators before shipping them. Officials from the European Air Safety Administration (EASA) did made rounds of visit to COMAC facilities and were deeply impressed by it. 3 of the 4 steps for EASA certification were done. Now the last part will be exciting - the awaited certification.

에누비님 항상 영상 봐주시고 댓글 남겨주셔서 감사드려요👍 이번 비행은 짧은 국내선 비행이기도 했고, 완전히 만석인 비행이어서 서비스를 자세히 담기가 쉽지 않았네요ㅎㅎ 그렇다 보니, 서비스보다는 이 중국산 비행기를 중심으로 영상 제작했습니다. 이 비행기는 현재 중국 3대항공사인, 중국남방항공, 중국동방항공, 중국국제항공(에어차이나)만 도입하여 운항 중입니다. 그런데 중국 내 주문 수량만 해도 거의 1,000대 가까이 될 만큼, 중국 내 주문이 많네요. 아직 해외 항공사들은 도입하지 않았는데, 가장 큰 이유가 인증 문제입니다. 항공기가 해당 국가에서 운항하려면 안전과 관련하여 인증을 받아야 하는데, 현재 이 항공기는 중국에서만 인증을 받았지 유럽, 미국 등 다른 항공 국가로부터 인증을 받지 못했습니다. 그래서 국제선 상용 운항도 못하고 있네요. 따뜻하고 행복한 연말 보내세요!😊

Thanks for another video! I’ll be hesitant to fly the C919, it’s still too new and not certified internationally! 🙈 I also don’t like the overhead LED lights, especially that blueish tint. And no screens in business class, that’s disappointing especially when you compare it with Cathay Pacific’s A321 regional business class product.

It is only a matter of time before C919 deserves the much elusive certification by the European (EASA) and American (FAA) aviation bodies so it can fly anywhere, and exported globally. While it also faithfully incorporated standards set by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) in terms of production. One has to watch C929 (soon to be peer with Boeing 787 Dreamliners and Airbus A330neos) and C939 (soon to be peer with Boeing 777/-X and Airbus A350) in the years and decades to come. A common denominator with Western planes is that they have the same suppliers of parts, avionics and components. In parallel, localization and indigenization of similar products by local suppliers are also happening.

For the Better Tomorrow님 이번 영상도 봐주시고 댓글 남겨주셔서 감사합니다. 사실 저는 이번 C919 탑승 전만 해도, 중국의 항공 산업이 이 정도 수준까지 올라왔는지 잘 몰랐습니다. 작년에 탑승했던 중국산 항공기인 ARJ-21은 품질 마감을 보고 실망하기도 했었습니다. 그런데, 이번에 탑승한 C919는 소음, 진동, 객실 인테리어, 좌석 품질 마감 등 모든 부분에서 에어버스나 보잉의 최신 기체와 비교해도, 승객 경험 측면에서는 크게 다른 점이 없었네요. 솔직히 정말 깜짝 놀랐습니다. 핵심 부품의 높은 유럽, 미국 의존도, 해외 인증 문제 등 아직 난관이 많지만, 저 역시 중국이 10년, 또는 20년 뒤에는 에어버스와 보잉의 큰 위협이 될 수도 있다고 생각합니다. Thank you for watching! I'm not sure, but I think the seat manufacturer is AVIC Hubei Ali Jiatai. I've only tried China Southern C919 business class, and Air China C919 economy class yet, so it is difficult to compare it objectively.

실제 비행기 결함 사고는 흔치 않아요....보잉도 글코 에어버스도 글코.....환경적,파일럿 실수 그런 원인이 많죠....보잉이 사고가 많아 보이는 이유는 그만큼 보잉 비행기를 많이 쓰다보니 그렇게 느껴지는거고....ㄷ

강심장이시네요...최소 미국항공안전청의 인증도 안받은 비행길를.. 이 여객기가 엔진등 주요부품은 미국,유럽제이지만 배선,스윗치 뭐하나라도 규격 에 안 맞거나 품질이 떨어지면 하늘에서 서 버릴수가 있거든요..그런 사고는 몇년후에 나타난다는거...

보잉은 안전합니까??...사고나는것들은 거의 보잉같은데?? 작년 알래스카 항공 비행도중 문짝 떨어졌고 지난달 제주항공 사고떈 메뉴얼로도 랜딩기어 안펴졌소. 미국인증을 받았다고 꼭 안전하다고 할수는 없는것 같소. 우리는 시장도 없고 기술도 없고 자본도 없으니 시도도 못해보는것이 안타까울 따름이요.

This is NOT a purely chinese own (home) manufactured air plane if it has to use imported foreign engines. Until china produces its own engines then it would be a different story. This scenario - " Liken to putting a french brandy into a chinese made bottle " 🤔

Is Airbus Europe's own? Is Boeing America's own? I think you in general lack logical sense, and focus on your own agenda selectively to make your point :) Do try to improve. Not only aerospace industry, but also automotive industry, have been sourcing via global supply chains for decades. Boeing outsources 70% of its parts globally from more than 20,000 suppliers, including Japan, China, Europe. Airbus even more - 80% outsourcing globally. You also have no understanding of engines - the engines are ordered by customers (airlines), not blindly chosen and installed by Boeing/Airbus :). So it could be from any of the several countries (UK, US, Canada, France/EU, some even request Russian, and China should be in this list in about 3 years once they are done with testing/trials).
