I freaked out when he chucked it, whenever you find a sprouting coconut. That is natures candy (apart from honey) But. Yes. Don’t throw it away. Eat it! Then go get more and eat that because you will love it so much

Rod - Okay so you tossed “Nature’s Candy” crime of the century. However, I believe you more than made up for it by preparing that absolutely sublime Coral Trout with skin crisps!!! That had me convulsing with delight at the very idea of how bloody good I’m sure it all tasted! Great save and good on ya for it! Cheers!

Noooo! You threw the best part away. That “baby coconut “ isn’t a baby coconut. That is an amazingly tasty edible part of a sprouting coconut. They have a crunchy watery texture with a slight sweetness. They are eaten in coconut-growing countries and they are very good! I’ve had hundreds and go looking for them when I am on the islands. They’re awesome and healthy too!

*Much respect for not putting the KZbin obligatory clickbait "Catch And Cook" in the title like every channel does.* No cheesy thumbnail either...just pure cinematic magnificence with honest narration. Rod is a likeable guy...I hate when he puts catch n cook in the title to get views. He can get them without the tricks. If I could give 100 likes I would

@@michaelhall5429 Yeah they catch and yeah they do cook. People love it. Thats why they all put it in the title to catch views.Damn its obvious Rod is gonna catch and yeah he is gonna cook too. I just think its obvious. Its a clickbait thing ...not a big deal. I just like it when Rod decided to not put it in...he doesn't have to at this point...and I love that. The man doesn't have to resort to tricks...his subs and others will click despite it. He will have 1 million subs shortly regardless if he puts Catch And Cook in the title lol

Just goes to show that it is so tough to survive out there. Even with modern fishing gear you're not guaranteed to catch a fish all the time with every cast. That's what I like about Rod's videos. It's not just about a guy out there having a blast. It's about a guy surviving.....and having a blast.

Came to say that you shouldn‘t worry so much about what kind of outdoor/fishing content you do. Obviously i highly enjoy you going remote on islands and exploring, fishing and cooking, but it‘s not why i am here. Im here because of you mate and the way you are. Just wanted you to know, don‘t feel forced to do stuff, just because an audience wants that from you, i guess its easier said than done and i might be talking outta my ass, but i just enjoy watching you do stuff and being who you want to be. Stay awesome mate! 🤙🏽
