Alone on Air Canada's Private Charter

Sometimes being late to something has its benefits, as was the case on this occasion when I was rebooked on a special A319 from Air Canada's Jetz Charter division. This plane is usually seen chauffering professional sports teams, delegations, or executives across the continent, but lucky for me, I had almost all of it to myself (barring a few transiting and working crew members) being the only paying passenger.

Hey Ryan, thanks for leaving a word! Yes, I think it was the meridian, although I'm not 100% sure, I don't remember that well 😅. It was an alright place, kinda noisy and not the newest or cleanest property for the price. If you're staying in Montreal, I'd suggest you stay at whichever 4 star hotel has the most reasonable price at the time, they're all relatively comparable.

Actually, no one with a broken leg can seat in the Exit row - the person seating there has the responsibility and must be able to open the door in the case of an emergency. :) Often people book the exit row seat for older people (it always has more legroom) and the check-in staff has the right to remove the person that's not fit to seat there.

if you need food / beverages for 50 mins flight you’re in trouble 😂🤣 the regular flights between Toronto & Montreal barely have time for food service - last time I flew (before pandemic) we got cold beverages and a slice of banana bread - and that was business class over the noon hour - would have been better bringing my own lunch 🤔
