JJ looks like my first husband(he died young). Can't help but have a love for him. No disrespect to his wife. what a sweetheart! I like to hear his generous and thoughtful take. he is qualified. a real man. like from another place in time.

I love how kind and understanding you are to every single participant, so responsible with your words, trying to always be encouraging. I think I tune in more to observe your energy and learn from your attitude towards life & people than for just the survival skills aspect of it, though I love that too!

it was interesting to see what kind of people haven't done enough self reflection, dont know themselves and give up

Jacques Remorse towards the little squirrel he shot was enough to have him reminded of the best memories of his life, and for him it was every second he spent with his family. Which was more than enough a cue for him to tap out and go home safely to his family. I believe he lasted 14 days, which for me is still extremely impressive and something I could never do. Anyways love the content Jordan!

Soooo..if havens been saying for years to my brother...I would have taken fly line and leader and fly fished. .. now they are forced too! When I saw that fella use his own dyed hair I litteraly laughed aloud. Sweet idea.

Great points about young Jack tapping. At first it made me angry because he tapped so early. ( pride on my part thinking it was a waisted spot) He was getting food. Not bad weather. Wasn't panicked with new environment. I have been alone so much and for so long I forgot about the first time I spent a long time alone. It is not natural for us and it takes a lot to get used to. I love it now!! Very therapeutic being alone with God . I forgot about killing at first too. I don't want to ever see an animal suffer. I am heartless when killing. Lol. Experience is so much! Sam is real rare in his ability season 1 and 5

I follow a couple groups on Facebook about alone and they have been really hard on that kid! Keyboard worries can be cruel. Wish he would have stuck it out a bit longer and used that old victor jump trap but wish him the best on his journey! Thanks for the video 👊

You can't know that. What if the other person ended up tapping out as soon as they hit the beach. Or even after a few days. You never know what your getting and thats part of what makes the show great.
@billbauer9795

@@Uncle_Antnee The show would have been better if the producers were to attempt to have all the contestants they select to be part of the show be like Jordan and Roland. Instead of doing that - they are looking for "interesting characters".

According to Clay , there may be a possibility they are not allowed to have a dip net. Maybe some strange regulation. It wouldn't surprise me after the no barbed hooks regulation you had . Dumb regulations are everywhere.
@adam_riley

No barbed hooks is common throughout Canada. We were under that regulation in Labrador as well.

I think it’s no gill nets but a dip net is doable… maybe the bulk of fish are small enough and the shore gentle enough that they aren’t as vital … but yeah the no barbs is common up there I guess.. definitely makes the fights more nerve wracking ha

@@hobojordo you were right all along. A contestant explained from season 9 that after the fishing pole was built, he was too anxious to wait till he built the dip net also. No barbed hooks either. Lol. Torture! Lol

@@coondogsoutdooradventures2484 yeah man it was interesting. It was my first time with barbless! Fortunately it was just a case of getting them on the hook then kinda flicking them onto shore. Wasn't any reeling in or anything.

Haha definitely… I’ve learned a lot on the traditional archery front since 2018, as I was still relatively new to it then … of course fletching isn’t hard which in hind sight makes me wonder why he couldn’t 🤷🏾
