So interesting to hear about the details! It shows how important it is to understand animal behaviour. That season is still my favourite thanks to you. Epic moose kill and I would have loved to see your fight to the death with the wolverine - I can imagine how terrifying that must have been!

Thank you Jordan for the reflections and reenactment. That's most definitely the most attractive moose I've ever seen. :) I'd like to hear more about your shelter, it wasn't very well featured on Season 6. Congratulations again on your success. Timber proved that it takes more than a moose and a great shelter to win - you had the magic. Cheers from Alaska

Ehh... most of the winners I've seen so far have not shot a big animal. Is it funny that those who did shoot one didn't get it all on camera, or is it actually the more likely outcome given the effort being applied to the task that requires two hands though?
@hobojordoАй бұрын
@ not sure if you have done much hunting on the ground with a recurve - but it’s insanely difficult to film while you do that. Hard to set up cameras in a place you k ow an animal is going to pop out, and in my case in a cold environment it was super hard to keep GoPros charged… they would die after 15-20 minutes it seemed and rarely is that all a hunt takes .
@colmcille9669Ай бұрын
@@hobojordo I have zero experience, hadn't even considered battery issues in the cold, and still common sense told me we were fortunate to see anything at all! 😄
