Aloo ball or potato ball

ALOO OR #POTATOBALL WITH MANGO SOUR
3-cups mashed potato
1/4-cup finely chopped white onion
2-wiri wiri peppers grind
1/4-tsp black pepper
1/2-tsp geera
1-tbsp salt
In a pot, boil peeled potatoes until soft. Drain and return potatoes to pot and mash with a potato masher until smooth. Set aside to cool down.
Once cooled down, add onions, wiri wiri peppers, black pepper, geera, salt and mix well so all the ingredients are incorporated with the mashed potatoes. Make into balls and coat well with batter. Fry until golden brown.
BATTER
1/2-cup dhal flour
1/4-cup chick pea flour
1-cup flour
1/2-tsp instant yeast
1/2-tsp baking powder
1/2-tsp dye or tumeric
1-tsp geera
3-cloves garlic grind
2-wiri wiri peppers grind
1 and 1/2 cups water
oil for frying
In a bowl, mix all the ingredients together. Your batter should not be runny, it should be sticky. Mix well and set aside for 1 hour.
Shape into balls, coat with batter and fry until golden brown.
MANGO SOUR
2-large mangoes diced
8-cloves garlic grinded
12-married man poke leaves
5-wiri wiri peppers
1 and 1/2-tbsps sea salt
2-tbsp white sugar
In a blender, blend diced mangoes to a puree. In a pan, add puree mangoes, married man poke leaves, wiri wiri peppers (whole), salt, sugar and cook for roughly to 20 to 30 minutes. After 30 minutes, crush the wiri wiri peppers and mix well. Set aside to cool down. Once cooled down, add the grinded garlic and mix well.
