Aloo Gosht Recipe | Bakra Eid recipe
beef/mutton 1½ kg
medium onion sliced 3
ginger garlic paste 2 tbsp
tumeric powder 1 tsp
salt to taste
Daar Cheeni mini 3 sticks
bari elaichi 3
star anise 1
long, kaali mirch, zeera
In a Deep pot, add all the above ingredients and turn on the flame.
cover and cook for atleast 10 minutes on medium flame
Now when you see onions and meat has released the water, turn the flame on high and start bhunofying it till the water dries out
Add:
1 tbsp red chilli flakes and powder
add 7-8 tomato puree/ half kg tomatoes
mix, cover and let it cook for 10 minutes.
Now, start bhunofying it till the oil separates.
Add 3 potatoes ( cut them as per your choice)
Add 1.5 litre water
add kasuri methi, green chillies
