The reticle is the crosshair for the weapon. The circle in the middle of the screen that you aim with. I have it turned off.

You even made it harder on yourself on purpose, not only without the reticle but by also not going for easier/cheesier methods using a Ropecaster! Very impressive, you are by far the best at this game imho! Only curious why you seemed to favor the Acid Shredders over the Shock Shredders. For me Shock works better usually because it also paralyzes the machines all the time. Unless that was on purpose too :)

This is one of the reasons I, personally, hated FW compared to ZD. The number of glitches, bugs, etc that I encountered on my playthrough were ridiculous and considering the (I find to be awful) grindy design of the game losing multiple components to collision and physics issues was rage inducing.

I learn a lot from your game play even though I tend to be range-hunter style mostly, you can't always avoid getting in a mess of melee!

One of the strengths of low health is that it can actually be tougher than full health. No need for berries or health pots as your health goes back to full after 1.5 seconds without damage, and your low health damage resistance is so high your effective health isn’t really any lower.

That Tideripper got worked! AR Shock vs. most heavies is no contest, but you've got to worry about running out in this challenge. That mining claw you shoot off at 23:20 must have flew 300 yards or better! haha

Aha! So, now you’re doing Large Machine Hunting Safaris, too, hu? I’ve been doing those for a very long time myself as well. Best way to see your level go up, BTW. You’re run was more exotic needing the Sunwing, I just move using campfires. And I’m more complacent than you: no restrictions - I worked long and hard to get where I am right now, might as well enjoy it. (;-p) Remarks for your run: • Your fighting skills are topnotch - very effective and efficient! • You did the “Apex” night run for extra “bad ass” points! • Even more extra “bad ass” points for ignoring the smaller machines and fully focussing on the target - most of the time. • and last but not least: you showcased impeccably the strength of your low heath build! Conclusion: very well done! PS: those Large Machine Hunting Safaris never get old - good fun for the whole family. :-)

@@ArktixOfficial I got the inspiration from the first Horizon game I ever played: Call of the Mountain. Difference: here in the FW you can actually participate in the hunt and make it last as long as you want. On a good day you can gain like 2 levels on a long evening. The next level is: fight groups of machines without Chain Burst (but a lot of shredding! ;-), several sites are good for that, even in FW. BTW: I suggest you try the tear disks on the AR for… knockdown. Mine is OP and those machines keep falling over, then I thought: wait a minute, who needs those expensive drill spikes if…? I wonder what your opinion is on this… PS: commercially doing shorter videos is good, but this one was action packed so it didn’t seem like long at all to me. Then again, I’m more of seasoned Safari Hunter so, my perception may be different from others. I sure liked it greatly!

it is odd that the slaughterspine is basically the only machine without a "unique component". not counting hearts, nerves and circulators. but in the vein of Tj tails, tremortusk tusks etc... otherwise the earthblaster would be a good candidate to make it a unique part, but its essentially a ammo container once its dropped.

Thanks! Yup if you change your HUD settings to custom you can toggle all sorts of things off. Ghost levels are just extra levels you get once you get past the max level, which is 50 in the base game and 60 with Burning Shorts. They let you continue to level after that, but it doesn't give you anything, just bragging rights 😂

Nope no skill points. You'll have to complete all side content, including machine strike, to get more skill points. Or start NG+ and you'll get points from doing quests again.

I would use the Renegade Warrior Bow with the Elite Frost Coil, the legendary instant frost coil from the arena and a purple one from Thornmarch to freeze the big machines. It’s still 10% then. Then just use another warrior bow for the big Damage. That’s by far the cheapest Method. As Valour Surge I would go with the one, that directly puts you in the Low Life State and always use it, when it’s available. And I would use the Nora Lookout Outfit instead of the Vanquisher and equip it with Low Health Defense +2 and Low Health Damage +2, simply because of the Fireclaw. Also it has the Low Health Regeneration already, which is pretty useful too.

Brilliant idea; fantastic game play demo too! ...??Question??> Is it possible to play HFW without spending any Skill Points? I have done 80% of the Daunt plus the Embassy without SP because I wanted to understand what I needed for my play style, but so far I can not tell anything; Important Note: normal difficulty, full upgrades to starter hunter bow, spike thrower, and frost sling, partial upgrade to warrior and sharp shot bow; also full upgrade to Nora Hunter armor. (no I am not crazy, I will spend points soon, just curious)

Liked the attitute doing the Dreadwing and Stormbird together, why waste time? Also showed the kids how to get Earth Grinders well and easy. I applaud the effort using other weapons as well, but..crit sharpshot bow is still so overbearing, maybe no more crit coils for these, or no more of those Sharpshot Bow. You could also try to varied up. No Impact damage weapon (well would allow the impact portion of elemental spikes) doing damage mostly with Elemental or Explosive, or being forced to do it on a mount.

@@ArktixOfficial Yes, setup vs other weapon is not different, so the effort is the same, and if you crit, large chunk of health is gone, using Boltblaster 6 shot burst is more demanding. + You no Crosshair Playstyle leeads to a single focus effort for high reward style, which they provide the best. I mean it´s like using rope, you know, we mostly ommit becase using KDP is more dynamic and fun and can be further exploited. Could be enough not using Crit coils on it. If you want to do something with sharpshot Bows, how about killing Enemies with rolling Plasma ? The time between Plasa state vanishing and explosion you need to have build up the next state (wont be enough to fill though, you need 882 damage and you get max 600 from an regular slitherfang)

So, I’m not actively healing. The health is auto-regenerating from the low health regen skill and it only ever heals up to 25% of max health.
