Can u upgrade weapons in hzd remastered? I noticed in ur videos that when u hold down the draw all the way the reticle changes into an “X” like in hfw when u upgraded weapons.

So standard, at 100% life let's say I have 100 hp and I take 50 damage, I have 50 hp left In this case, at 25% I have 25 hp, but I get 70% damage reduction, so I take 15 damage, which leaves me with 10 hp. So effectively I lose 1/6 of my standard health pool, I lose the ability to overheal via potions, but I gain 1.5 seconds auto heal and 80% damage increase. Wouldn't this work really well with the Overshield skill? Edit: oh, ok, hadn't gotten to that point of the video yet, or at least not by actually knowing what you're talking about, because I watched it a few times before. I don't know how armor damage reduction factors come into play here though. I don't know if the reduction is a percentage (which wouldn't make any difference), if it's a raw number before the reduction is calculated (which would be a disadvantage over the standard 100% lifepool), or if it's a raw number after the reduction is calculated (which would make this build op af). Either way, this build looks really good, can't wait to try it. Thanks! :D

I had a problem w/the game as I was unable to get past the building were the guy get thru but she doesn''t and I was unable to get her to move past the building that was blocking her.

i'm half way through the game, and I love it. Yes, it was expensive - but Holidays are coming, I bet they will offer discounts to cash in on the holiday cheer. I for one, am a Horizon die hard fan and the only reason i purchased this, my first lego game ever, was Horizon. No regrets!

you're the master of this game

Coming from someone that started on Ultra Hard 1st try and can't aim to save my life, this has easily become my favorite weapon type in the game very quickly (1-hour-after-trying-it-out very quickly). I didn't find it difficult to use at all, even when I 1st tried it (all the way back 2 weeks ago). I actually think it's more precise than hunter bows, and you're fine as long as you hit the target in any location. What I would suggest different than what's explained in the video is when aiming to move towards or away from the target (so in a direct line) then chose the direction where you are picking it up (left or right) immediately after releasing it, rather than going left or right the entire time. It makes it a lot easier to aim (or at least for me it does). Other than the small learning curve I can't think of any reason why this isn't by far the best weapon type in the game. I even use it against humans now sometimes when I'm too lazy to change the weapon. The only reason that I could possibly think not to use it is that the ammo is pretty expensive, but then again it's less expensive than using any ammo type other than hunter bow arrows. Also, if you don't mind exploits (I think they're fair game as long as they're not actual bugs that you're taking advantage of) you can use the Whisper Hunter Bow flip, and you're set for the entire game as far as shards go if you invest a few hours into it, which makes the ammo price a non-issue. Also, as an unsolicited note, I think this game is extremely under rated (Forbidden West, not necessarily Zero Dawn). It feels like it's a game that everyone knows about but no one played. Imo it's right up there with RDR2 and Wither 3 (which is why I even started playing it in the 1st place. Finished Witcher 3, then RDR2 and was looking for something similar and though "meh, I'll give it a try". I liked Zero Dawn, but I love this one). Great video, thanks! I would have probably never gave it a chance if not for this video on how it works.

My first playthrough of horizon. I relied on the blast sling too much requiring way too many metal vessels. I'm really enjoying using the variety of techniques and weapons you show to take down these beasts! Time to up the difficulty.

I waited till i get at 39 level to open all the legenday chest and the max stats were 111, but even with all the upgrading my max stats on offense was 425, and 406 for defense.

Little confused, if you're on ng+, why don't you already have all the best weapons?

I started ultra hard on mistake. Got problems already before nomans land😂 realised i couldnt change difficulty without restarting so just kept going. Getting better and Just killed the first spectre! But god damn mostly die on 1 or 2 hits.. and enemies are suuuper tanky

The simple and blind easy way is, just turn ON the controller vibration function, and when you hit the R1 button when blades are equipped, you feel the vibration just after hitting the R1 button, when you feel the vibration, immediately tap and hold the triangle button which will switch to Flame Whiplash mode. Its simple and easy way.

I just got back to this game, last played april 2023 when the DLC came out and i didnt have time to play it. Pls guerilla dont patch this i need to catch up first lmao

i hate these things so much, ever since frozen wilds Now in forbidden west i have been actively avoiding them. just tried this method in game, and now theyre actually fun to fight! this video is a amazing example of how a game can feel bad or good, depending on how you play it.

I put like 4 instant elemental coils on my warrior bow, so I can easily apply an elemental state quickly and for cheap

I’ve platinum both forbidden West and zero dawn and I’m just now finding out the storm. Bird has a tail whip motion that I’ve never seen before and I’ve killed at least 100 of them.

Best I’ve had was 37,952 but I don’t feel like I quite got the best hit on the eye. I also have 5 elite critical hit coils on my sharp shot bow instead of 25% damage coils. I also forgot to set up my weapon technique to focused shot, so I missed out on the 40% boost from the valor surge. I’ve been trying to go higher with using the 25% coils but critical hits rarely come. I figure the 5 critical hit coils are more practical for regular game play than the 25% damage coils since I have a 75% chance of a critical hit every time I use the bow. You can still practically one shot kill every machine in the game with this setup.

I did all this on multiple times on ultra hard playthroughs but I snipe most the enemies in stealth with head shots then go full action on the coruptors. I’ll admit @arctix has a level of skill to few. Badass. Still though pointers always rock a ropecaster in the weapon wheel. Makes ultra hard easy. Ropecast every machine then make brittle for huge damage. Only machine this does not work on is deathbrigers

The Toolkit is indeed pretty clunky in this game.

Only criticism I'd have is freezing before the tearblast arrows. Just a waste of resources there. Tie him down, tearblast the comps you wanna remove, then rope/freeze/precision until done. Love your content and thanks for sharing!
