*"The best defense is a good offense"* also if you play with headphones 🎧, there are many audio cues that can help you evade attacks without even looking at the machines, this is helping a lot to know when it's the enemy turn to try to dish damage, one evade can buy you 5 seconds+ to be aggressive, without the need of worrying about it's next attack (depends on the machine you facing) Let's play a scenerio together: *You facing a Thunderjaw -* You stun it, with Freeze arrows, and you try to remove it's heart shield cover - let's say you missed 2 shots, that's ok, let the Thunderjaw attack you and make it miss, Now you will probably have better angle to remove that heart shield cover(that is still your mission), and probably stunned the machine in the process just by removing pieces of it's armor, 1 triple notch shot in the heart - most of the machine HP gone, All you have to do is to freeze it again, when it gets stunned, run to the side that's open (to hit the heart), shoot, mission successful. Enemy down. The back and forth play is the key, while your mission always stay the same - *exposing & hitting weak spots*

Nemesis: "Fine, I'll do it myself" In case you don't know what nemesis is, you can check it out from some KZbinrs as I don't want to spoil too much of it. In horizon forbidden west, here are a few things you should know: 1. Dodge roll is smaller and limited, you can't do a long roll dodge anymore. I hope the dlc includes this feature in the new skills! 2. Burrowers are extremely bothersome and annoying, especially the tracker variants. If they hit you with their tracker sprayer, they will know your location until the effect wipes off.(Identified by a status icon) It can be very annoying in arenas with rockbreakers as they will imediately dig right under you. Also, they're plasma shots are extremely precise every time. If you thought red-eye watchers in HZD being extremely precise was bad, the burrowers have extreme aimbot that is even worse than the Red-eye watchers. 3. Careful near you're own traps to not trigger it yourself! If you walk over it, it will instantly damage you.(Unlike HZD) Although, the new trap variety is kind of nice, I won't deny. 👍👍👍 4. DON'T REALLY ON STACKING ARROWS WITH SHARPSHOT BOWS! Believe me, the braced and focused shot weapon technique is so much better! I was really disappointed with the double notch weapon technique for the bow. It barely does increased damage and it is a waste of weapon stamina. The hunter bow's triple notch weapon technique was much better than the one for sharpshot bow. 5. Use your valor surges only for the right situations. The most effective valor surges I recommend are: •Sharpshot •Ranged master •Radial blast •Chain burst •Melee's might The overshield valor surge is also pretty useful (It is simply the shield weaver) but unfortunately more limited, although is pretty op if you upgrade it to the highest. *Steps* - Obtain all skills connecting the valor surge. - Upgrade it to level 2 for 3 skill points. - Upgrade it the the max level (Level 3) for 5 skill points which is a lot. Not sure how you'll feel about the others though. 🙂🙂🙂 6. Shellsnappers are zero joke, (Just like the slaughterspine and burrowers) they have an insane hyper beam that instantly kills you! Not to mention, it can burrow too. 7. Slitherfangs are burrowers but a snake this time. Despite it's enormous size, it's extremely fast. So fast that it's very hard to hit it's weakpoints and get the key resources. Thank goodness the Apex version only appears at night. As you already know, there's a lot to deal with. But based on you defeating HADES reimagined, you can handle it. 🤩🤩🤩 I loved how you made the deathbringer (MQ16) like it's HADES, amazing performance on this one! This must have taken so long and it was all worth it, very well done! 💪💪💪

@@MrAR_Gaming Glad to hear, took me a while to adapt to the game but once you learn the burrower, slitherfang, slaughterspine, tremortusk and shellsnapper attacks, they are less bothersome. Also, there's something I forgot to mention: 8. Like I mentioned before, fireclaws have become more overpowered because of their Apex variants and the sac webbing key resource. But did you know that they secretly nerfed one of they're attacks? When creating a mini volcano, there's a delay to the attack where the lava is trying to burst through but does fire damage if you're under it. (If you know what I mean)

Also the usage of the Forgefire looked so cool, but it would be inaffordable for me, cause you used like almost 2400 blaze 😅. And in that one part almost at the end, how did you manage to survive with one hp left? It's a pain to think about how many attempts this took you. I appreciate the love, best loadout I would say is Ice rail - Striker bow - Champion bow - Powershot bow. For most scenerios, these are the weapons that you would want to use🏹 (All of these weapons are from the Frozen wilds DLC) If you are against Corrupted machines, Use Fire Element weapons like the Forgefire instead.

The animation of Melee attack is constant, very long + can't be cancelled and for only 400+- damage. it can lead enemies to one shot you on this scale of battle, because they are all spamming their attacks the second you are close to them, In these kind of settings - your role is to crowd control them to get advantage, If I decide to stop moving for more then a second with machines around, I'm dead, it is still Ultra Hard difficulty, don't forget.. @Brooklyn de Vries later on in the game, and especially after you get very good weapons (DLC Weapons) the spear damage is not worth DPS wise + risk of being exposed to attacks. And I do have maxed out spear 30% + 30% coils on it.
