I am from Czech republic and I am planing to start an Alpaca herd (a small one up to 10 Alpacas) and your videos really help me to gather information and insight on how it works. Please please do more videos on alpacas and how to take care of them, make friends with them and perhaps some shearing videos... :) I would like to know why male and female alpacas cannot be kept together? does it mean that even if we would have one male and two females, the male would still have to be alone in his own fenced yard?

Hi thank you so much! I will work on making more videos about alpacas. Males and females cannot be kept together because they will breed and the male will harass the female. Unlike other animals, alpacas do not have a heat cycle. They will actually ovulate in the presence of a male. If kept with a male they will ovulate immediately and become pregnant. Once they are pregnant the male will continue to try to breed with them and this can cause a miscarriage.

What kind of fleece quality do you usually produce? Does the higher copper intake effect it?

Most all other farms feed more copper than I do. I'm assuming you've been told that goat food has more copper? Dont take someone at their word. Read the bags. Alpaca food has more copper than some goat feeds.

+tal miz they can make good therapy animals if they have a lot of training and the personality for it since they need to be able to have lots of people petting them. They are more difficult to have as therapy animals because they need a trailer to be transported and since they are large they might have difficulty going into some hospital rooms. But I have seen a few of them online going into hospitals and nursing homes and of course the patients seem to really like it because it's something different. Do you volunteer with Therapy animals?

I have two questions, Am i able to take my bearded dragon to pets mart to get a hide for her? and secondly, ive tried every trick in the book and my bearded dragon rarely takes even one bite of her salad, ive only been able to get her to eat a bit of greens by waiting when she is in her basking spot for her to open her mouth when basking and i just put a leaf in her mouth and she will either eat it or spit it out, second is to trick her into thinking im holding a cricket but its instead a leaf but if she directly sees the leaf she doesnt want it AT ALL, Please help me ;~;

Yes it should be safe for you to take her to petsmart. how old is? some bearded dragons don't get into eating greens till they are 6 months. As long as she is eating lots of bugs with calcium once a week she will be fine
