Please Make a video, explaining the tracking on + autofocus, and all the different autofocus settings options. Select subject, subject recognition in AF, wide or spot. What are the best options to select and what is redundant. It’s been a while since the camera release and there haven’t been many videos in the last 6 months. Most people are purchasing this camera for its autofocus upgrades but the options are plentiful and fairly confusing.

Great video -- extremely helpful; thanks! One thing I don't understand though - what happened to the IR remote? This has been a staple on Sony cameras for years. The same Sony remote I use for my SLT's I use for my A6400s. Yet, with this high end performer that's no longer an option? And yes, I'm aware of the B/T "use your phone" option and it's nothing compared to the IR system. Huge miss (in my opinion). Again, awesome tutorial -- thanks.

hey sony just wanted to know why one of the important thing about the language setting that cannot be changed if you buy sony camera in japan is not mentioned anywhere. i just bought sonya7rv but just learned that the language cannot be changed to english which is frustrating

people are criticizing cameras not having two card slots, while in reality they only use one card or stills in card 1 and videos in card 2..

No more eye autofocus on the rV. Can’t believe they removed it from the menu 😮

LOL, what? a7R V has some of the most advanced eye autofocus tracking for humans and animals. It’s not removed from the menu.

@@LeoNatan unfortunately Sony tech confirmed for me 🥹if you can find eye autofocus in the menu to program as a back button please send a picture

@@chriscanon5278 It's controlled with "Subject Detection" now. You can bind that to a button to enable and disable.

@@LeoNatan I tried but I think you have to be in wide. I like to have spot available to me with a button press so if it can’t lock on eye I can spot focus and recompose. Also I like to have a choice of focus on something else in the frame even though there is a person there. On my A7IV I can get spot with half press then back button for eye

@@chriscanon5278 You can still achieve that. Disable subject recognition, and you can then use touch to set a spot or a tracking spot. If you then enable the subject recognition, it will jump to the eye/head/body of the subject (human, animal, etc.)

Great video, as always. What I didn't like was your lack of knowledge about where Bogotá was. That is something you would not expect from someone with a latin name. Your comment sounded disrespectful. I don't think Sony liked it either.
