I have bin considering contacting you guys about getting the 4 ports added to my Apollo 11. You have already done some work for me on this pistol including porting it with the 2 little ports that you came out with early on. Did not know if Over porting it would be a concern but after watching this seems like not so much. Thanks for the video. Answered my question before I asked it lol

@LOL, I have the 4.25 non-comped version. It was my carry gun, and I competed with it at local carry gun matches. I was doing a slide lock reload with a Checkmate mag, and the ejector flew off. Andy at AF told me it would take a month to fix because he’s going to SHOT Show-like, WTF? Not to mention, my grip safety didn’t work when I got it. LOL. I still love the gun, though.

Totally new to 1911/2011 platforms but ive shot ALOT of poly framed striker fired guns. Wanting to jump into my first metal frame gun soon. Romulus is at top of list with fhe platypus. My only thing is the ejection looks weak with the vax. Is that not a problem you think? Thx for the input

Once you open up the comp and add the 4portsman, it almost seems as if the casings/brass are just barely falling out and not really ejecting very far.. did you have any issues with ejection, or any FTE? I also noticed that once the 4portsman and comp was finished, the optic was not being used.. Was this because of the new ejection pattern ? Or just because the optic didn’t belong to the customer that would be receiving the slide back?

I’m waiting on my 5” ported Romulus to show up. When do you think the stock versus VAX will be ready? Nobody wants to VAX, I’d call it the Port Horseman. Nice job clarifying at the beginning. Most people never acknowledge their mistakes despite that we all make them.
