What a co-inky-dink. Big push to replace red meat and this shows up.

It’s probably more an allergy to some proteins. I’m trying to work out adult FPIES and it seems I’m having problems with beef, fish and eggs. So I’m interested in what is said here as someone who has weird things happening.

My friend with severe alpha-gal allergy to everything mammal is finding relief through Advanced Allergy Theraputics (AAT). I'm going also and read many testimonials regarding alpha-gal and AAT.

My concern is the inability to source beans and vegetables that aren’t GMO and raised with glyphosate and pesticides. I don’t think I could even find anywhere vegetables that are genuinely organic. Personally I’ve had good luck with meat keto diet. And vegan diets are expensive and requires intensive preparation I simply don’t have time and energy for.

Never hear a peep about all of the chemicals the government lets their campaign donors in the big ag industrial complex add to our food...and just about everything else, do you.

I had a reaction after eating supermarket beef. Swelled up for days. I knew after 2nd day it was definitely the meat. I now only purchase meat from the Amish market near me. No problems since. There must have been an antibiotic given to the cow before it was slaughtered. That is my best guess.

I'm thinking the lady is forgetting to emphasize the possible "leaky gut" aspect of this condition. Meat is known to "not" be involved in creating that condition where chemicals and highly processed carbs and oils are. Coming from a so called "cowboy" who has found removing oils and reducing most of the oxalate rich foods she promotes AND increasing animal based proteins and fats has massively improved my life. Guess I dont have alpha gal, ha

Let me tell you this condition is hell. I had it back beginning 20 years ago when no one not even vaunted Vanderbilt knew what was going on. Doctors almost killed me multiple times. I lost any faith in medicine well before the Rona came along. Self diagnosed and ignored doctors then lived out the last 3 active years of Alpha. I haven't had any problems in a decade or so, but lost my 30's to a little Lonestar tick that got me on a work run to McMinnville near Chattanooga. I could mainline Benadryl without ever getting a yawn after those years of living off it. You don't want it and you better make sure they don't get on you if you can help it.

It is widespread now and well known in Middle Tennessee. Many people have had great luck with acupuncture immune system reset therapy. Have personally heard of about an 80% success rate. Would have loved to have known that years ago.

😮Eureka!! I may have had alpha gal in 1979 in Jefferson County and Spencer County Kentucky. My first reaction was at about age 22. I have been trying to understand cause of my ridiculously high urticaria reaction that lasted 20 years! I am not aware of it coming from meat, though. First reaction started a few months after starting my first full time job, so we thought it might be a reaction to some new computer paper ink or something else environmental. . On a Sunday, I noticed a little swelling on my forehead, nose bridge and lip. It happened mid day. I did not know any cause. It was annoying but I was going to a play, so I figured it was some mosquito bites. The next day, within a few hours before lunchtime, at work, I went from an itchy bump on my lip, to swollen and pink nose bridge, to raised handsized hives at my forehead near hairline and into my scalp, a full belly of raised , hot itchy pink skin, a few quarter sized raised welts on my upper arm and I went to student health for Help! The doctor was quite intrigued, called a student doctor in to see a great classic example of urticaria / hives. She gave me some oral benedryl and a kenalog corticosteroid injection in my arm and we watched the hives start to disappear before our eyes. Pretty cool! By the time I got back to the office, I sat in the lunchroom eating my lunch and the meds hit me. I felt like oozing off the chair into a ragdoll lump on the floor. I think I probably napped right there for a few hours. This began my 20+ years search for the reason and testing: skin plug from a hive in my butt looking for Lupus. Neg. Good. Hundreds of prick tests on my upper arms and back. I was positive to almost ever foods and weeds tested over about 3 years. I was given a variety of antihistamines and eventually 10 mg Prednisone Rx to take as needed to keep from wanting to scratch my skin off. Oatmeal baths. Caladryl lotion. Calamine lotion. Soda and water paste. I was miserable a lot of the time. Learned perseverance and patience over time. Some things like black ice tea would result in lots of small spots only only legs. Strawberries would react closer to my fore head. I tried all kinds of elimination diets to no real answers.😊 Somewhere through there I noticed floaters in one eye still in my 20's. Uveitis was seen in the back of one eye and the other soon after but always worse in one. Then floaters in both eyes. Had neurologist review and she did MRI to ensure nothing pushing on the eyes from behind. Neg. Local eye specialist gave it dx of oculat sarcoidosis. No biopsy could easily be done to look for granulomas. The chronic hives went away not to return again after about 4 weeks in 40 mg Prednisone a day to address flare up in the uveitis that was not controlled by lower dose. I ballooned in weight and had puffy moon face and my retinal doc pulled out her magic weapon of steroid injection just under the whites on eye #1. Not too bad. Big plus was ALL my huge hives went completely.away in about a month never to return again. I ended up with two steroid shots in each eye over about 3 years. That brings us to 1997-1990. I was married and had first child by then. Took no oral Prednisone while pregnant. No hive issues during pregnancy enough to bother me. Had second child and had tried some oral allergy drops and was on different antihistamines when not pregnant for itchy small spots that would pop up several days each month. I took oral Prednisone a couple times a out 3 out of weeks. Eventually I was diagnosed with Neuro Sarcoidodis in early 2001. I went on more steroids and many other immune modulators and the hives eventually stopped. My eyes and spine swelling finally calmed down after I started methotrexate followed by remicade in 2009. I have not had any hives at all since then. I believe I do know now what one of the consistent aggregators was that I probably had since birth. Rather than reveal my suspicion now, I will let people comment if you have a clue what systemic issue might have been involved. I cannot prove it. This alpha gal very well may have been involved. I am not aware if my igge antibodies were tested. Will go back to my extensive testing records and see. Thanks for reading this far. I am 66 yrs old now *** and off all pharma Rx, healing from natural moldalities I learned online when covid hit to shore up my immune system best I could to fight off covid. I got a light case eventually in May 2022. Then another light case this past summer I thought was just allergies while travelling in a different environment but tested pos for covid the next week when I get home. I attribute my natural gradual healing to God"s grace putting the right stuff in front of me to learn about lower carbs and sugars, less processed foods, better varieties of vegs and more fatty meats, more vitamins and minerals, full body detoxing and finally Intermittent. Fasting was added. Getting stronger gradually. Lots of neuro PT. Feel better now than I have in 30;years. God is good and I sense he wants His children healed!! I am grateful to drbeen and the other courageous medical folks who have stepped up on their own time to add all these extra virus-aware videos starting 2020. We will get through these Times by sharing what we can and being more patient with each other and thanking God every day for everything. And then He is quicker to help us with the next baby step. Amen!! Btw, please vote to make America healthy again. We all deserve that chance.with insurance coverage on natural solutions as well!! God bless the USA!

Most likely that lack of exposure is leading to higher allergy rates + allergens being rampant in industries that mass process a number of different items at the same place.

I tested posted for Alpha gal with high numbers. My ANA is high and my CRP is 132. I've been having a lot of issues but nothing like the typical alpha gal allergic reactions. My daughter has been living with Alpha gal for over 10 years now. The information availablebis only the tip of the iceberg. The rest is unknown and doctors know little. Would you please do a segment on Alpha Gal, arrhythmia, atherosclerosis and cardiac damage? Sidenote: I have never had Covid? Could this possibly be due to my antibodies? Also, unvaccinated and will never get another vaccine

@@blutamis7697 Thanks. I’ve seen more Drs this year than ever but all is clear. It’s probably adult FPIES and there are not tests that I know of. I’ll be running it by the gastroenterologist soon. Thanks
