Female beauty standards are not hard or unrealistic IMO. To them losing weight is an unrealistic standard, going to the hair salon or putting on make up is tough. Mind you these standards are only if you wanna be perfect, but many men are happy with woman that look like a 5 or 6. Woman have more options than men so the only reason they would want to reach the model standards is so that they can have an army of shrimps, but if you wanna attract just enough to find love then you can easily get away with just being in shape and minimal make up which is realistic for 90% of woman. Guys on the other hand have to lose weight, sculpt themselves for years in the gym, dress well, groom well and make good money and have game which is all a lot of effort and that might get us a date here and there. The average woman that complains about unrealistic standards has more men coming to her than vice versa. Woman would stop complaining about female beauty standards if they got to see how it is like to pick up woman as a man.

I think female beauty standards have changed in the west. It is MUCH lower now. Back in the 80s and 90s which were the years of the Super Model that was pretty high. Just to give you a comparison now. My wife who weighs in at 135 at 5'6" which isn't fat but not skinny took a recent trip to China. Her size there is XL where as here it hovers between S or M. Female beauty standards are self imposed and it just depends on what culture you are from.
