Telling men to 'be better' only helps when it's a problem of the men in question not being responsible for their actions. It doesn't help in the vast majority of what are known today as men's issues. Things like divorce (wealth transfer forced by out of date laws), family court (false presumption that wife is SAHM), homelessness (no support programs), institutional genderism (men have to work longer before retirement, hiring with Affirmative action or DEI is anti-male except for the small group it benefits), selective service (men have to be willing to die for their country to vote, women do not). NONE of this has anything to do with men being better.

i understand where his 'men need to do better' comes from: it's suppose to empower men to be strong. On a personal level, psychologically this is the best way to move past abuse/victim mindset and empower yourself. BUT in modern society, that mentality (moving from a personal to social context) is weaponized simply to exploit men. we know this: why would anyone tell you to accept less pay and work harder at a job - you'd be an idiot, even if it made you 'more masculine' i believe all of our problems in this discussion, stem from this inability to jump from the personal framework of empowerment to the unfair social expectation

The annoying thing about this conversation is that, yes, on the one hand, men's role in society was emergent from our environment and reproductive system. On the other hand, our environment has changed so drastically that collectively we are a lot safer, but we see men being safe as a bad thing. Men who are adapted to a safe environment are seen as weak. So it becomes a lose lose. Men built an environment to keep women safe, now they resent us for also being safe

I don’t think it’s resentment for building the safe society, or that men too can be safe. The problem is when something happens to threaten that safety, yes, the women will want the men to dig into their more evolutionary brain and react like a protector. The one guy is correct….we are never going to get around that men are stronger than women. Men are stronger than everyone…and that is why they get screwed. And for as safe as we are… there are still many things that can threaten that safety. Two examples from tv….George Costanza pushing women and children out of the way because there is a fire. Even if you give lip service to the whole there’s no difference between men and women….pushing kids and the elderly out of the way for an adult man is going to be seen as very cowardly. 😅 The other I often think of from The Sopranos. When Melfi gets r@ped and the police drop the ball, and her husband is angry, but plays by the rules….she is looking at Tony knowing she can tell him and likely the man will be severely beaten or killed. When her safe liberal world was shattered….sometimes it’s the criminals like Tony who believe more in the an eye for an eye philosophy that is needed. As Colonel Jessup said-deep down in places we don’t like to talk about at parties, we need a guy like him on the wall….who is going to do it Lieutenant Weinberg? In a utopia where everyone behaves and is civilized and there is always safety, obviously would be ideal, but we aren’t there yet. And as soon as there is any breakdown of law and order, the most vulnerable are often victimized. Look at the migrants traveling….apparently SA of women and children is rampant.

Another element of male disposability is society has no interest in helping men, that is younger men to become more productive. Society blocks their paths then complains men aren't doing more. They have them, but they are for things like black men and women and Latino men and women, so we're still counted, but only alongside women as well and only a smaller part of the USA population, which I personally fall into. Of course women could apply for more of those gender specific ones than any man can, especially if they're not white or are mixed racial. There might be a few others that I didn't mention that include men.

Imagine this@@chocov1233; Title 9 was enacted due to the imbalance between men and women in education and school sports and forced a balance through regulations and laws. Well then, if one examines the imbalance in scholarship awards, why not enact forced parity, i.e. equality or equity (whatever the in-fashion word of the day is) in scholarship awards? Of course we already know the answer (no one cares with regards to men).

Another truth bomb session by the hardest working and still most underrated channel today. Showing that its never their fault and that the responsibility & blame for all that's wrong in the world and their lives will always be placed solely on men, with the solution being to just be better. One should always strive for growth and betterment, but only for themselves, not to satisfy women's shortcomings due only to their own poor decisions and behavior.

And we all know a bro who knows a bro thats been through that same reality. You can not get that from the reality of a man trying to learn "How to be a Woman". Because thats accepted before a Man learning "How to be a Man" is ever accepted today. 🤷🏽‍♂️ Stay alive gentlemen. Since '92 ✊🏾✊🏽✊🏿✊️✊🏻

In reference to the opening clip: women are significantly more religious than men in the United States (ie: Christian). However, in their treatment of men, women consistently fail to uphold their primary responsibility: to love thy neighbor as thyself. Obviously, men and women are different, but imagine any man holding as blasé an attitude (as in the opening clip) toward a woman about to go through childbirth. It would be unforgivable. And now think how many women would listen to the opening speaker and eagerly nod along with what he had to say.

Men are not disposable, we’re just built for certain jobs and tasks that women aren’t that may result in giving our lives for our women and children to live comfortably. The same way we wouldn’t say women are disposable even tho many women died after childbirth, yet we still lived on a species. That was their job/sacrifice to bring on the next generation.

I agree, men are indispensable, and the whole "disposable" narrative is just propaganda to justify the unjust treatment that they have to tolerate from society to ensure its continuity. Btw death during child birth used to be a MAJOR threat that plagued w0m.e.n centuries/millenia ago, during which time, death at war, death at the hands of wild beast in the course of protecting family etc was the burden of men. Now in the 21st century, that threat for w0m.e.n have almost been eliminated, thanks to advances in technology and modern medicine pioneered by men... According to cdc.gov the maternal mortality rate for 2021 was 32.9 deaths per 100,000 live births in the US. In 2020, the rate stood at 23.8 per 100,000. Suffice it to say, this no longer a major threat.
