Interesting episode got me thinking if there might be new pathways opening in this insane world. However, there's clearly a lot of wrong these days. Traditions were traditions for a reason, and they've all been thrown out. Many women are acting like kids picking what they like and don't like about the old ways and expect all men to fall in line. In the end, when you think about it, things wouldn't be so messed up if women, as a majority, respected men and let us also evolve in our roles together. However, they are the ones forcing us to stay static in every aspect of our 'masculine' role, even though Western women act in a way that gives no incentive for men to keep that role, and many men are even punished for keeping it. It's a big mess but the ones who have the power to change the status quo are women themselves, I believe most men will adapt even if that means focusing on ourselves instead of a family.
@thisisshah
@thisisshah 9 ай бұрын
What’s interesting to me is it isn’t even just women that are doing this, it’s also men like Matt Walsh or Ben Shapiro who would rather shame men in the manosphere for making decisions that are best for us rather than help reform the laws that are enabling women to do this.
@Pssst.ByTheWay
@Pssst.ByTheWay 9 ай бұрын
Picking and choosing: absolutely, I agree with you there. Men should be allowed to find their new place in this world, . There was an interesting line on the whatever podcast about men needing to be needed And I think that is such an old world way of thinking that a man only has value if he is providing, and how harmful that is to a human being, who only feels his value is in his exploitation If you need to be needed, it’s codependency and validation of your existence by external voices, and that is rather dangerous m. Especially if that validation falls away. Like losing your job and you decide to off yourself because you have lost all value as a human being. In a world, where women are surpassing men in education, and an earnings, etc, especially in the less gruelling and body breaking jobs… I feel men are being denigrated to an expendable worker bee status, and that is just not right. It is not what I want for myself and it’s definitely not what I want for anybody that is near to me! man or a woman. Women rightly, so, should be allowed their equal opportunity place in society, but with that power comes responsibility and relationships are not 50-50 They are 100, 100 . You put in all your effort and they put in all the effort, and if in absolute numbers, that effort is different, either you more or her more. Is it still your all. And that is a beautiful thing And I feel that is a fairer dynamic. Rather than me me me. Take take take.

Hmm...but what can we do to update the laws for men's rights ? That seems to always be missing.
@thisisshah
@thisisshah 9 ай бұрын
Here are a few suggestions: 1. Update paternity laws. Currently in California for instance if a man has kids in marriage (or has signed paternity), if he finds out they aren’t his after the kids are older than two he cannot undo paternity and is forced to pay child support. We should update this to give men the right to “delegitimize” a child if he is the victim of this. He should have first right to this and if he does with the advent of genetic tests mom should have to go after the real dad 2. Caps on child support and spousal support. No person, whether man or woman, should have to pay an egregious amount of money a MONTH to support someone who WALKED away especially where there is no abuse or wrongdoing (Tyrese Gibson, Kevin Costner, etc). By placing caps that match just above poverty line to live in a given jurisdiction it would stop the incentive for women to baby trap or target people because of their wealth. 3. Bring back aspects of at fault divorce such as division of marital assets being based off of someone breaching the contract, whether that be cheating, abuse and so on. Back then if one person cheated and if it was proved in court the judge would be compelled to give most of the marital assets and custody to the injured party. No more cheating because “I’m not happy” and walking away with the golden parachute. 4. Custody laws need to be updated so that men are able to obtain custody right off the bat if there isn’t evidence they are abusive or harmful. Men shouldn’t have to navigate a legal minefield and spend $1000’s to see their kids for 30 mins a week with supervised visitation! If I missed anything please feel free to add stuff on!

@@thisisshah1. Paternity test should be a law and done for woman that's pregnant. 2. Wives who claim abuse and try to kick/steal the houses before initiating a divorce should have proof and source not just " trust me bro believe all women" 3. Child support should also be proven by DNA test not just by a signature. A man in Detroit right now is losing everything because a woman he dated years ago got pregnant didn't have the father or didn't know who got her pregnant wrote his name down he took a paternity test and it was not his Child and the courts said oh well 🤷 pay the child support or go to jail.

Some how it's "our fault" that we decided to stay on the Titanic while the women left in life boats, as an example a man from Japan I believe survived the wreck and when he returned home he was shamed and booed for saving his own life... yet this woman says "we put ourselves in this position" 3. Flip the roles, and tell a woman "well life is what you make of it, if you get stuck with a terrible partner its 100% your fault" and her initial finger pointing is telling.

That older dude with the colourful bandana is so sane…. That mentality doesn’t exist anymore nowadays among young people lol.. some young people are sane but they don’t have space to express.. it’s the modern hipocrisy of freedom of speech and democracy. This is an anarchy of values and controlled chais… and that’s so sad to realize.

Please, we need to stop using the word “chivalry” as a synonym for: polite. Opening doors, pulling out chairs, holding a woman’s hand when the floor is slippery, etc.. that’s politeness. It’s not chivalry. Chivalry is the intentional redirection of a man’s power away from barbarity and towards civility. That’s why it was born in the Middle Ages. It was men opting to take their power and use it to protect the least among them: children, women, the elderly, the sick, animals. It was a religious/spiritual practice for men. It was in stark contrast to the dark ages, in which men would largely believe that naked force in and of itself morally justified them to take what they wanted whenever they had the means to. The idea that they should instead risk their lives or their wealth for the vulnerable was radical. While it’s true that the chivalrous men were very attractive at the time, that was not the goal. Many knights, for example, took vows of chastity. Chivalry often meant they had no time for romance. They had duties that went far beyond being polite to women.

Yes but unless women aren't expected to be polite, this is false. Men are not allowed to have any expectation of chivalry from women. These things are nowhere near the same if you scrutinize it for even a second.

@intalek305
@intalek305 9 ай бұрын
@@AV57 I'm suggesting they are different as said, but pointing out the difference in the investment involved between these two things and the potential for overlap. Something can be chivalrous and polite, but you can be polite without chivalry, and chivalry is a far bigger investment than simply being polite, and it is only expected from men, and both men and women should respect when it's given far more than politeness. They are far different levels of investment.

The lady that said you have to have sex before marriage is just wrong. I don't have to test drive a car before I drive it. I can just read reviews and ask all of my friends who have driven it already. My ex wife, for example, probably has dozens of customer reviews available if I'd just been a smart shopper and done my research. Yep. Definitely should have pulled a carfax on that 304. LOL

Problem with the analogy is, the Tesla can’t test drive YOU. Soooo you might think only about YOURSELF in this situation, but when she thinks you’re terrible in bed, it’s not going to last. So pull up that car fax lol

@@beastness501 Tesla? Did I say Tesla? What are you smoking? Cars don't test drive people. Why? Because we're the ones with the money and the power to walk away and pick another model off the dealership car lot. I don't care about women. I don't care if they're happy. I don't care if they're satisfied. I do what I want and no more. And that's why I pull a lot of women. Also, it's a bonus and an absolute win if they don't want to stick around long term. :)

Yeah her advice is what created the 304 generation we have. Putting sex on such a pedestal that you try it out before marriage and if he's a good guy in every way but sex, oh no can't marry him, not like he'll get better if you communicate what you like, no no, can't do that, he needs to automatically be Chad Thunderc0ck mind reader in bed. And let's be real, she was talking about women making sure a man is good because even if a girl is starfish at first, you can tell her what to do easily enough and guys usually won't mind instructing a girl, it means she probably has some purity.
@PipersGrip

@@CrystalisedWorld Yea, it's called love. If you leave someone because they are bad at sex, it means you never really loved them in the first place. In fact, waiting for marriage is best because you know how to resolve conflict without sex, and you learn to love each other without sex. If you truly love someone, the sex won't be awful, and people can learn and grow. They won't stay bad.
