In West, sign language is not just for deaf-mute people ,it is considered a language that can be used by anyone but unfortunately this thing is not seen in India, it will be so good if NCERT makes some basic words and phrases compulsory in junior or middle school classes.

I dont know what idea you have of the "west" in your mind but no, that's not the case. Sign language is a language only deaf-mute people use, other people use english, german, italian, french or whatever their mother tongue is depending on the country they are from. My brother is deaf and i lived in america 6 years with him, never saw anyone who used or even knew sign language except deaf or mute people.

I have a question do you spell each letter of a word like L A N G U A G E or do you remember each word with some specific gesture? aren't there 10000 or some everyday use words if so i can't remember all of them or guess the word. Why can't we give some of our tax to deaf to help them to get some devices to communicate like a keyboard that way neither it is hard for them to learn 2 languages and fast to communicate since everyone has different perspective to the world.

Some words require fingerspellings and some have signs assigned. The learning of Sign language is just like any spoken language where with practice it'll be naturally taken in.
