I'd actually like a soulsborne-like game with this idea. Where you work as a bodyguard for a tougher boss and you spend your free time wandering the palace, searching and defending against random players who want to assassinate your boss. The occasional "boss fights" would be on players that have tryhard names or self-proclaimed speedrunners. The final boss for you would be a cheater that uses godmode and an OP build. Once you kill the cheater, you get reported to the devs for being too OP and the game ends with the devs updating the game to have you nerfed and turned into a possible npc for certain endings (giving you free roam that's lore-friendly).

Although, i would like to mention that the balance in the attacks seems pretty bad, considering how the circular attack almost never hits unless the hero is just trying to kill himself, the rising shot is pretty much OP in really close range and the sword shot attack (the one going down mostly) is pretty much one you could spam basically in all cases except for when the hero is inside of you, especially considering the whole "blade" part dealing immense damage.

The idea of Xora being a SES and created for a specific reason reminds me of the old tales about golems. Golems are artificially created and can act as guardians who will be tasked to protect a specific purpose (although Golems aren't a "SES" as many of them can exist).

@Noperare2 жыл бұрын
If you pay attention to the health bar, it has nothing to do with Paige´s attacks, the battles are designed in a way that you can't die too early, but also can't beat at lv 14.

Yeah! Maybe the alien and the human who were looking for the planet come back eventually? Maybe Xora meets up with their old group? There could definitely be a real story going on lol.
@AlphaBetaGamer2 жыл бұрын
Hi! that's all the pretty much all the story in the game. You can survive longer but your character will just say "Let's get this overwith" at the start of each round and then start fighting. You can also die in earlier rounds if you don't fight well.

Wow, this is extremely similar to a game concept that I had sketched out about 5 years ago. Well executed and beautifully made (I still haven’t made my game). I love the banter and dialogue system, I had not bought of something like that. The main thing that surprises me though, is that the camera and UI still focus on the ‘hero’. Xora is the protagonist here, so I would have chosen to keep the camera centered on him.
