If you're gonna challenge people to a fight, at the very least learn how a real punch is thrown. Seriously. Most people don't know how to throw one - not even close. I don't go out of my way to fight people and I haven't had to in years.... but there's a lot of people out here who think they're real tough because they're built - but they throw a punch and it's a joke. If you throw a real punch against someone like that, they're always going to be in shock if they haven't actually been in a fight where someone was tying to INJURE them. Just saying.. I'm not some tough guy, and I actually hate confrontation and all that. But if you really haven't had to fight when you didn't want to, you don't really know what fighting is. It can be for fun - but that's only when both sides are in it for fun. I didn't have a single fight outside of Tae Kwon Do when I was a kid, that was actually "for fun". For the average guy it takes one of two things to break a brick, mass or speed. For a small person it takes amazing speed and pain control. Even if you do have the skills to back you up, direct confrontation doesn't rly seem like a viable option these days (I was gonna say "physical confrontation," but sometimes it doesn't even take being physical to end up w someone out to get you). I get the impression that back in the day, more ppl weren't afraid to take an ass whooping. He was always the type to eat a loss in front of any challenger, act like they had made up (etc), then do horrendously-disgusting passive aggressive things to get the person back once he had the chance to act w/out being caught immediately. I met him up a decad or so after our youth... Exact same dude, only he's a huge gun carrier now; big on weapons and chemical stimulants.
