If you have lifted for 5-10 years and are an advanced lifter steroids can be used to help you continue to progress. Once strength progress and size stop it’s just that extra level. I don’t see anything wrong w doing what u want it’s the retards who have no natural gains who hop on the sauce that piss me off and it gives it a bad rep. As someone who has been injecting test for 3 years straight, just stay natural guys. Its not worth playing with your hormones and your health to be just a bit bigger than your friends or buds at the gym. I have had horrible body dysmorphia since I've been young. Thanks, ma. I used to be obese as a kid and I transformed myself to skinny fat as a teen, went to the military and put weight back on from stress eating. I got out, then I trained hard natty for a year and a half and got lean and toned up. However, the damage to my psyche had already been done. Now I've blasted a couple of times and started getting gyno, I started taking Adex to get rid of the moobs. It worked, but I felt like complete shit. Had way less energy and no emotions to really speak of. Did this for a 2 years. The last year I've been cruising on a TRT dose of 200mg, and dropped the adex. I feel much better than before, still no gyno, nice body, 17 inch arms, 46 inch chest, etc. However, I still now have to think about how I permanently messed with my hormones just because I was insecure about my body. The messed up part is, I could have achieved this with my natural potential. Instead of taking 3 years, it would have taken 6+ years but I would have achieved it because I still worked hard af to achieve my physique; fucked up thing is I'm still not 100% happy with my body either. I will also probably have to inject test for the rest of my life unfortunately. I'm too nervous to come off completely because I may never recover my natural test. BTW, I'm only 26 years old. Don't fucking do it. Listen to Alex. I wish I stayed natty. Now there is no turning back, unless I'm willing to go through absolute misery for something that may be all for nothing, which I'm not.

The thing that motivates me to continue training natural is the curiosity to see just what my natural genetic potential is. Most people tap out even before hitting 10lb of their lean body mass limit. Also with gear that's just another area of commitment that you have to put time and effort into on top of just diet and training (ex: EXTENSIVE research, constantly check hormone levels, heart health, negative reactions, etc) if you want to do it as effectively and safely as possible. In addition, it's probably the biggest compliment for people to assume you're on gear when you know you aren't:)

This is the age we live in, everybody wants immediate gratification, immediate results, immediate likes, immediate followers. Everybody is focusing on the end result, not on the process. Sure it's nice to have goals in mind, but what happened to just enjoying the process? Why can't we just lift weights because we enjoy it? For me lifting weights (and playing guitar) is a way to escape the bullshit of this new age we live in. There's no need to compare yourself to others or to impress fake gullible sheep. Will you grow faster if you use steroids? Yes. But going the natural route will build much more natural confidence, knowing that it really was your hard work and natural genetics that developed you into who you are and not some exogenous temporary substance. You'll also enjoy it more as you won't be putting as much pressure on yourself to get results. The only reason to consider steroids is a) competing in untested comps b) income heavily relies on your physique (model, actor etc)

GVS has been getting better and better each year and the guys like 36, i think at 40 he could potentially be at his prime. A lot of guys think that as soon as you've hit 30 then thats it, its all downhill. Train until you're 40 and youd be surprised how good you'll look and feel after 10 years training. Obviously with good diet, sleep etc.

Can't find it now, but I watched a video recently of a male bodybuilder who transitioned to female, and specifically addressed how incredibly difficult it was to intentionally lose the muscle.

This is a great message for teens. I'm 42, so glad I went the natty route. When I'm pumped I legit look like I'm on a first cycle and I've had guys ask what I'm taking ha ha. 2 testys, that gland that makes GH and that other thingy that produces insulin. That's what I'm on.

I like the unbridled passion, the obvious desire to educate, help others and telling off the of the gear users.

I liked the rant. It gave me a little confidence boost. I’ve been working out since I was a teen. I get a little jealous when someone shoots drugs and progresses 3 times as fast as me.

Love the honesty. As a man who made mistakes that landed me on TRT I whole heartedly agree. I'm probably gonna try to do another PCT in the future working with my endo, but trust me being in this position in your mid 20's is not something I'm proud of. And you're right, most of it comes from insecurities and the internet. Also side note, a lot of people are lying, but since your T levels are stable on TRT you can hold a supraphysiological amount of muscle and heavy abusers probably induced significant hyperplasia they will keep.

Normal scrawny high school kid, all the big guys in school were on shit. Started lifting, made some gains. Hopped on /fit/ was inspired to take it to the next level. Gym homie starts a cycle. Info was a bit harder to come by back then so I just copied his cycle. Ran it for about 2 years straight until I suffered a major shoulder injury that took me out, mostly because of ego. Had no idea how to PCT correctly so had major side effects + injury caused a spiraling depression. Was out of the gym for about of year, probably same size as before but fat. Hormone profile is all fucked up, can’t perform sexually for better part of a month. Now been back in the gym about 5 years no drugs. Not worth it for the 5 mins of fame. Take the natty path.

much needed tough love advice from you Alex, especially when recently there has been more and more 14 and 15 year old tiktokers influences by "Fitness" channels going on gear and bragging about it. Then they have the nerve to tell their fans "It's just hard work". They're only fooling themselves.
