i wouldnt be surprised to see engineered explosives go back to the $40-50 range. i pulled it last year when it was that much from a previous masters set, an luckily held onto it as it topped out to almost $90 i then sold it. but my point is i didnt even think it would go up that much, i think some people realized how strong of a card that truly is and in itself can be a game changer. i think its one of the strongest artifacts today in modern and its seen lot of tourny play... only time will tell

Wow the 2 boxes I opened from you were about 50% duplication as well. The main difference in value was the box topper. One was Snappy the other Leovold.

I got 4 boxes and pulled many 3x copies of rares like Reanimate, Phyrexian Tower, maybe a couple more... and a couple 4x playsets including Daybreak Coronet, Vexing Devil, Raging Ravine. Plus plenty of 2x copies of a card including Snapcaster. Didn't get any Caverns though.

This exact same thing happened with my two boxes. I bought them hoping to pull at least a few good copies. A friend and I opened them in the same sequential order pack for pack. And not only are there duplicating rares, there are also duplicating uncommons in the same packs in the same 3 card order. Out of two boxes I pulled 56 duplicated uncommons and 14 duplicated rares/mythics. I have pictures to prove this and when I messaged WotC they sent me Masters 25 packs as an apology. Not replacement ultimate masters packs but packs of the worst masters set, probably trying to get rid of extra stock considering how bad it was. They also gave the excuse "The boxes are "Randomized" so while unlikely it is still considered in the realm of possibility." and claimed they would do nothing to compensate because there was nothing wrong with the boxes. This was obviously generic big company deflection tactics and I am still trying to get them to replace at least one of my boxes and to get replacement packs for ultimate masters and not some other failed set. Rudy if you got this far thank you for making this public and if you want to post my story I again have pictures and I can screen capture the emails from WotC and send them to you. I would really like to make this more apparent so hopefully wizards will see their mistake and not only reimburse me but others who have reached out to their product replacement support team and gotten the BS response of sorry we fucked up but we didn't fuck up and there is nothing wrong so here is BS sorry packs of a set you don't care about. At least this guy got decent Box toppers. Mine were Tasigur and Raging Ravine.

I notice a lot of duplication in UMA in my 2 boxes I had 14 rares duplicated between the 2, including 2 Mythics. I think there is something to track printing as well as I think you have opened more copies of Liliana’s and some other Mythics than you have opened Noble Hierarchs

Unfortunately I haven't been able to afford a box however, I've been buying the Walmart 3 pack for $38 bucks. Mostly I've had garbage fire with a few hits. I bought one today and pulled a karn, ancient tomb and a liliana. I almost died when I pulled it. So there is luck with them but don't expect them to be magnificent. Also, I've have so many duplicates of the same foil!!! So many duplicates of foils which I guess I shouldn't be suprised since I keep buying packs and the 3 pack from Walmart.

I bought a three pack from Walmart, just to see what the odds were like. Foil Runed Halo. The rares we're Back to Basics, Through the Breach, And Acient Tomb. Prices were around 75 dollars at the time. Went and picked up another 3 and got Stirring Wildwood, lavaclaw reaches, and Magus of the Bazzar. The only "money" card was a foil Gamble. I think it was WotC's way of telling me not to Gamble. Lol
