Rudy, you're absolutely right about Theros boxes. It's not a ridiculous thing to suggest. Thoughtseize alone is $30, thanks to being a multi-format all-star, and pioneer legal. The temple cycle, sylvan caryatid, Elspeth, Nykthos... Theros might even just end up being the Mirrodin of Pioneer.

Rudy, to answer your question, yes Stormbreath Dragon was pretty steady in the $20-$30 range for most of its standard life. But, Thundermaw Hellkite from M13 hit a peak of $65 during the Innistrad-M13-RTR standard. Not sure if you care, but, I did watch the full video!

I joined MTG during this set. It was a magical time! I had a great local gameshop I went to every day and bought a pack or two. I scrimped and saved, since I was in college, to buy those packs and play with everyone and anyone! All I wanted was a Thassa, I even bought the playmat and all sorts of swag with her on it. I never pulled her. This set has a soft spot for me but man, screw Theros.

I really do miss original theros, I enjoyed drafting it and playing it. I remember Polukranos sitting at around $8-$10 during RTR/Gatecrash and then when Khans came out it shot up to around $15-$20 because R/G monstrous started becoming a popular deck.

Rudy, out of the 11'000 (unique) cards in MTG, only 205 are planeswalkers. Divide by 90 sets is 2.3, meaning average 2 to 3 per set. So your chances of pulling a planewalker is still considerably LOW. Hell, even I only have 3 from buying packs so far.
