Gumball's copy being a goat completely misses the point of Gumball's design: he's a talking cat, so naturally he thinks the world should revolve around him. That's why he's so brash, and it doesn't hit the same with a goat. Conversely Darwin's copy being a frog is really clever but also really shallow. Its fundamentally the same design and explains how they could have the same backstory, swimming thing growing legs, but Darwin fits Elmore perfectly as a conceptual anomaly while having the emotional punch of evolving for his family in the first place. His copy being a frog removes that conceptual and emotional depth since growing legs is something frogs naturally do, and makes him really normal for someone from a place like Elmore. You could say Gumball has a tame design for Elmore too, but the absurd situations he gets into from his self destructive behavior makes him fit in regardless, behaviors that Darwin's copy doesn't have.

Bruh I love this episode so much. As someone who really doesn't like people doing things to hurt or copy other people, It's glorious how they fell of the bridge. The really sad thing is that Anais is legally the second child while Darwin is the family pet that came along before her arrival. It's just a coincidence that he happens to walk and talk like another child. Having him in the knock off was no big deal at the time it was created because the creator was well aware that he's the companion of an only child. Technically Anais could have gotten a copycat but the creator took advantage of the two child policy to change Darwin's copycat from "family pet" to "adopted son." This was an excuse to portray 2 "official" sons in the knockoff.

I really loved “Be Your Own You”, it was a fun musical number what with the Watersons trying in vain to have their copycats be more unique. Also liked the plot point with the copycats not having a third child. I’m surprised the show didn’t get banned from China after this, especially with the dig at their ½ child policy. I kinda wonder what an episode that made fun of Teen Titans Go’s episodes dedicated to making fun of critics would be like considering how they dissed Miracle Star. I’m guessing it could involve Gumball and Darwin watching a cartoon and its an episode making fun of the critics with Gumball and Darwin being genuinely confused, then annoyed when the next episode is also dedicated to mocking critics, and then jumping into the show to get the characters to do something that isn’t mocking the critics. This was a fun way to send off the second voices for Gumball and Darwin (Jacob Hopkins and Terrell Ransom, Jr.) the former actually voicing Fushi in the dub of To Your Eternity.

This is one of my favorite Anais episodes! Her intellect and morals are portrayed really well in other episodes, but this one really shows her response to not being included in an amazing way. It really shows how ruthless she can be when she's determined to get her way, and I think the only other really good episode that did that was The Remote (another one of my all-time favorites.)

The song from this episode was BRUTAL. HOLY SHIT. Darwin: “What you are doing is straight up criminal” *shoves bootleg Darwin to the ground* Gumball: “So just try and be original!” *rips off bootleg gumball’s face* Then the song ends with the whole family pushing the rip-off family into their car, saying: “get in your stupid car, and don’t come back! :D” which was then copied by the other family. The family would retain the momentum of the truck for a short amount of time after jumping out, because the energy transferred to them by the truck's movement is maintained. Because they're rolling and don't immediately lose momentum by making a final landing, it actually makes perfect sense that they're moving at the same speed as the truck. Them landing right back into the truck and immediately having their seatbelts put back on makes absolutely no sense though LMAO

Your explaination is correct IF friction is non-existent. In real life, jumping out of a vehicle will usually slow you down because of friction. And that ramp would have stopped them completely because most of the kinetic energy is lost through friction. If we're talking real life physic, Gumball and his family would have little to no kinetic energy left to actually clear that ramp.
