Some people need to realize that these are all cchs and freestylers. The freestylers hit their stuff in gold and casual lobbies, but there are some that are hit in high gc lobbies

@@chaelsonnen7947 yes, unfortunately they are not in any good region. Henk and evample are honestly on the lower tier of cch. They are just really popular so people think they are the best. Some top 100 cchs that I found are reshiram, louix, and a few other and there are more ssl cchs than ever rn like entity. My favorite ssl cch is probably pulse eska but my favorite cch in general is oypowh.

@@deat-mq5xi I have to have Evample as my favorite. Solely because while the vast majority of freestylers are doing all the aerial stuff. Evamples ground mechs are just ridiculous compared to anyone else I’ve ever seen. Especially in competitive RL. You’re right there There’s a lot of freestylers that do cch that go unnoticed, I think that fast majority of pulse tend to be more popular. Similar to the way faze etc are in other games. Because the 1 or 2 like maktuf and Evample in this case help bring eyes to the others when they do whole org stuff.

I love how nobody understands that there are clips in matches and clips in private matches for freestyling. And that that somehow takes away from the sheer mechanical ability of these players. Y’all are silly. Is it more impressive in a rank match or rlcs of course, but that’s not what freestyling is all about. It’s impressive either way. 99 percent of players can’t do this.

well the thing is, it WOULD be more impressive if they were scored in a comp match, but NO one is able to score all of these in comp matches. So it's really just ignorant to act like the defense matters :_: (I am agreeing with you). You can clip on people in comp but in the end you're doing something that you think guarantees a goal (to win). Freestyling is style, skill, creativity, and pushing for the skill cap of mechanics and control. When you think about it like that scoring the goal at all is like getting past a defender,,, yourself. Do you have the skill to score 15 resets? who tf cares if no one tried saving it. If they cared about getting by a defender they would be playing comp.

right, the point that alpha touched on as well is that it gives pro players ideas among numerous other things. Free play clips have been washed out by TAS shots as well, making it impossible to know whether a shot was faked or not. The idea is essentially to showcase your mechanics in a game like situation, even though the defense isn’t always top notch, you’d be surprised at how many insane shots get saved randomly, which adds somewhat of a game like element to these shots. Along with that you can’t play free play with your friends, and some setups you get in game you can’t organically create in a private match. There are many reasons freestylers such as myself go in game to hit clips, not just to poop on new players.

@@itzbreath6087 I get that for sure. I think it’s a matter of opinion as I think that the highest mechanical level skilled goal is more fun to watch, regardless of the defense. Freestylers have been pushing the creative boundaries of this game since it started, and the mechanics discovered by freestylers are the reason you have players like zen and dark today. Flip reset was discovered by freestylers, maktuf/murie resets, sting pop, pogo, breezi flick, all mechanics you see used often, all discovered by freestylers. Point being there is a reason behind freestyling and it isn’t to just win against low leveled opponents, but rather be at an mmr where we can showcase our mechanical skill to the highest potential without constantly having to worry about a defender!
