Its crazy to me how after such a short amount of time you not only reached GC3, but are also able to clearly articulate some of the most important concepts in this game that channels that specifically focus on RL content fail to bring up. Great work, these videos have been a massive help

The point about intention is so valid. Usually these kinda videos are BS, people make them because they want to make a video that will be popular, not because they ACTUALLY have something new and useful to say on the topic, and they end up saying a bunch of obvious filler that doesn't help anyone. So good job on this one

2 hour long video ❤. I think possession type mechanics are pretty important. Ground dribbles with power slide cuts, low 50s, flicks. Maybe even ground to air dribbles, wall to air dribbles. Flip resets, ceiling shots, double taps off everything I suppose.

Wow, I am so impressed with how well you said everything!! You didn't just say "Go into freeplay and just do it over and over again" like most people do just in a different way every video. You actually said to have intention, break it down into steps, and learn to adapt to your mistakes and learn (You probably said more but I am only at that part, I just couldn't hold back my comment lol). You're literally teaching life lessons through a rocket league video which I can't respect and admire enough. You're a legend for that, I instantly subscribed! Have a blessed day!!

For everybody at first they suck at it. I would reccomend mastering atleast 3 stall resets. Then you wanna go up like you would for a normal reset except you wanna go more towards the middle bottom portion of the ball. Then imagine your car split in half. When you're going for heli resets try to hit the ball with the 2 back wheels. After that you're gonna need to correct with either free air roll or the opposite directional air roll to correct yourself and keep your car straight and then everything after that is practice

I loved how even though you seem pretty chill and well put together, those two ranked games showed that you still experience the same struggles the average player faces. Tilting, blaming tms, whiffing, contemplating ff'ing, all that was in full display but it actually made me happy that you kept it in. It shows you're still human and that you don't have this game all figured out. Yet...

This is the first video I’ve seen from you and watched it through. I was gc1 at my peak … long break like years long and now I’m stuck c1-c2 and teeter back and forth. After watching and implementing the 3 rules into my gameplay I play way better. Normally it’s hard for myself to think too much when I play because I mainly phyc myself out and end up playing myself. With these things in mind my gameplay is smoother and feeling way more confident and my control is leaps and bounds better. This really helped me, thank you for this video. I may not be instantly winning more games but I’m feeling the improvement which is what we’re after and makes the game that much more fun to play !

Brilliant video! I would love it if you could break down different types of wall shots and aerial solo plays. Perhaps bounce dibbles, how to change their speed or height to control the ball? into power shots as well? Finally, incorporating the above into freeplay in a smart way. That'd be sick.

Watched every other video on the fundamental rockets series, will fully watch this one soon. I hit gc in season 10 which was almost a year ago, but I was hard carried by my gc2 ish friend, since then I was happy to have the tag, but never satisfied cause I couldn't reach it again, been hardstuck in c2-c3 for this entire time. I got a few key things that as soon as I implemented them, I finally managed to reach gc again, and fully on my own this time! Currently 3 games away from gc rewards. The biggest thing I got was mentality, cause I couldn't even solo queue, one incredible phrase is all it took: "If you're only focusing on your teammate's mistakes and not your opponent's or yours, you're not thinking about winning". Game changer and even life changer, it's an incredibly powerful philosophy.

2 hour long video. Great video like usual this was great I had kinda forgotten how i went on to learn alot of my mechanics and this video was a good reminder to keep things simple. Im the ssl who commentated on your last vid. The intention focus is probably the most important thing to rank up in rocket league and so manypeople that get stuck, do because they dont understand how intention should be applied when playing. I dont really want to spend 2 hours on a mechanic but for me personally if you could figure out for me how to: Make a flip reset consistenlty get alot of horisontal momentum (you would need to flip as you get the reset and not go for musty). This is probably challenging but its what im looking to learn myself. I havent watched any tutorials but as im trying myself it probably has something to do with your downwards momentum. If you could manage to get high speed while peak height that would be crazy.

Also a small lesson in not forfeiting because you’re frustrated and there’s still a chance. In the last game it was obvious you were annoyed with your teammate and ff’ed with over half a minute left. Ended up carrying sure, but you won the game in the end. Frustration forfeiting is an awful habit and is a determinant to your progress if you still have a chance to win the game.

❤ Honestly, not even a specific mechanic for me, but I'd love to see a breakdown of your thoughts on car control in general, just fundamentally moving the car exactly the way you intend to and getting more consistent at doing so. I've been c3 since the first season the rank came out, and I've been endlessly training rings, slalom, every kevpert video, zero gravity, reverse gravity, training packs, but it still feels like my car control is so inconsistent and shaky, which makes it feel harder to learn how to do whole mechanics... I'd like to know if you have tips for training it up, or if you think it's best to just focus on other things and let it come with time while training specific mechanics or something.

The ending statement was great. That’s exactly how i think. “I can quad reset but can’t even single in game” but, following that up, how the hell do we discover the right time to use this mechanics 😭 when is the right time to single reset, double, triple or quad reset in an actual match 😞 also, would love a 2 hour video of mechanics and drills. The mechanic is like to see in that is 1. Wall dashes (on kbm and just can’t seem to get them down at all) and 2. Heli resets. Having helis broken down in a drill would definitely help, as sometimes I can pop off and get 4 or 5 resets, and it just feels right, but most setups or starts don’t have that like locked in feeling. Just feels off and like I’m scrambling. And get myself too far from the ball, or too close, or not going in the right direction. And I just don’t know how to break it down to know where the mistake is happening to cause those issues

i am c3/gc1, I peaked at 1610, and havent surpassed that in over a year. I have maybe 6000 hours I cant improve this facet of my game... The hardest thing for me, is actually getting a GOOD first touch, that is higher, rather than more forward. I can get a controlled touch that moves forward, but isn't high enough (like you see in high level lobbies). With those touches that are high where you give yourself options, are so important but i cant figure how to get it right AND under control. I'm mainly looking for advice on what type of airroll (tornado spin?), and when you are boosting. Dunno if that makes sense. But first touches are so important when going for aerial plays, would love to get a little more on that. You da man

2 hour long video ❤️ 24:30 is an insane recovery , could you try and go in a little depth in how to get better at recoveries by dashing etc? sounds easy but i just need a little more knowledge and context if that makes sense, video teaches me a lot and thank you for making it, worth a sub and much more Also could you teach us how to get better at flick control and setting up for it, like mustys (something i’ve struggled with) and how to set it up and not loose the ball on the pop, thanks again

Do a 2-hour video of how to helicopter reset. I would really appreciate that, as I'm having trouble with learning this mechanic, including the setup and the mini-adjustments. ❤❤❤❤

Insane video. Just insane. I'm Champ 3 to GC1. I got GC some times, but my problem are not the mechanics, are the consistency. I miss a lot and i dont really know how to get that 99% consistency the pros have

2 hour mechanics video themes to cover: flip reset and how to use directional air roll to flip into it to get the 2nd flip reset and the awkward moves in between. Breezi Flick, Consistent 45* flicks, wizard flicks, reset -> musty and the awkward moves beforehand (maybe arsenal reset into musty is easier cuz of how the car is turned? idk) Now I will go and try to watch your video on fundamentals and gamesense/rotations and so on, cuz that's where i suck. I have OK mechanics and im c3, but I'm not playing very smartly.
