The ending was super cute ☺️. I love how you explained the natural way to tell someone your hobbies. Also how answer when someone ask you your age. But you don’t want to say, I love how you can ask how old do I look? That is a question I ask all the time when asked about my age. Great video.
@alphakoreanclass Жыл бұрын
Hahaha!! that's right. I also came up with a different way to answer about my age thesedays.

Great lesson! Aside from the great lesson on how to introduce one's self, I like how you highlighted that some of the grammar formats used here can also be used outside of self-introductions.

The introduction is a little difficult for me. But this break down is helpful. Do we record and send to you? Thanks for all your help
@alphakoreanclass Жыл бұрын
I'm glad that the breakdown is helpful! If you have any specific questions or parts of the introduction that you'd like further explanation on, please don't hesitate to ask. Regarding recording and sending to me, I'm not sure what you're referring to. And I will soon be helping you practice your speaking through a KZbin video. I'd be happy to assist you further. And of course, you're very welcome! It's my pleasure to help in any way I can with your language learning journey.

Good lesson! However, I get confused when I hear 입니다 - is it a verb or an expression?
@alphakoreanclass Жыл бұрын
Thank you for watching! As for your question, "입니다" is a Korean verb ending used to indicate the copula (similar to "is" or "are" in English). It's often attached to nouns or adjectives to create a declarative sentence in the polite, formal style. So, 입니다 can be considered both a verb ending and an expression in Korean. I hope this clears up your confusion!

What should I say if I am retired. 직업이 없어요? 건강이 나빠서 은퇴핬어요?
@alphakoreanclass Жыл бұрын
If you're retired and don't have a job, you can simply say "은퇴했어요 I'm retired" or "지금은 특별히 하는 일이 없어요. I'm not doing anything special right now.".

오, 이미 책을 사셨다면, 굳이 새로 사지 않으셔도 됩니다. 하지만 이 책을 선물로 주고 싶은 친구가 있다면 얼마든지 또 구매해도 좋을 거예요. 😄

@alphakoreanclass Жыл бұрын
Hi, Tammy Roseborough, thanks for your comment! I'm glad to hear that you enjoy my content. 😊 I'll definitely keep your feedback in mind and try to speak slower in future videos, especially for beginners.
@anna8282 Жыл бұрын
@@alphakoreanclass I for one prefer normal speed, because the words often sound different when pronounced slower and I want to learn how it really sounds when real Koreans speak. :) Thank you for your great videos, they are really helpful! 🌷
