Prepperjon... easy... the companies (in the US) that produce their product in 2litre bottles, its because they also export out of the US. As far as their exports go, the quantity staying within the US is the minority. So, the American companies choose to not have an “American size” gallon containers and an “everywhere else” litre containers, forcing Americans to get a taste of the rest of the worlds perspective... (Oddly, for me, I use both metric and imperial... I read a tape measure in feet and inches, Im 6’2”, I have no clue how many metres or centimetres or millimetres tall I am! In Canadian football, its measured in yards, not metres, just like NFL. )

And of course the deductibles -and even then you are not guaranteed to get timely treatment. We do but we can still own all kinds of rifles AND handguns legally. Now transport laws and being able to own restricted firearms in Canada is more strict, we can still buy and own legally some nice firearms.
@bhg123ful6 жыл бұрын
Go deeper man. He covered that in the very first point. "Canadians tend to trust authority, Americans tend to be suspicious of it." Government being in control of health care and regulating firearms are manifestations of being suspicious of authority. Personality, and I say this as an American, I think they take it to a bit of a paranoid extreme, and support left of center policy, but this is the root of the difference.
@adonisauriferi15005 жыл бұрын
That wasn't necessarily forgotten. health care and gun control are heavy leftist policies and I believe he did say that they lean farther to the the left. Also that they trust their government more, which is also a liberal thing as left wing typically desires more government control. In America, gun control would be a terrible thing, but in Canada the people are nicer and the only danger is polar bears, which I've heard guns don't work well on them

On December 9th 2009 a Edmonton Transit bus driver was brutally assaulted to the point his left eye was completely damage. The bus driver was dragged out of his seat and out of the bus and then kicked and punch repeatedly by the assailant. The assailant pleaded guilty and was sentenced to jail for the rest of his life as a dangerous offender.

Yes Canada is safer then the United States however brutal crime can happen here. The 2017 Edmonton attack was a stabbingand vehicle-ramming attack that occurred in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, on September 30, 2017. Edmonton police constable Mike Chernyk was allegedly hit and stabbed by 30-year-old Abdulahi Sharif, who then struck four pedestrians with a rental truck during a police chase. All four injured survived and were hospitalized. The incident is currently being investigated as a terrorist attack, with police confirming the presence of an Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant flag in the van that rammed the police officer. Then the Assailant got out of the van and repeatedly stabbed the Police Officer.

In Canada, most people vote for an individual, not a party. Even when a politician "crosses the floor" (aka, joins a different political party) most of their supporters go with them. Also, if any politian does something we don't agree with, we call them out on it, even if we voted for them. We never excuse bad behavior just because we identify with a certain politial party. Obviously, there have always been exceptions to that rule. Worryingly, there are a lot more exceptions these days.

You didn't explain "Melting Pot" properly. A melting pot is when other cultures come into a nation, to be mostly assimilated into the culture, while adding some of their own culture. The "Mosaic" which isn't actually a very common term, is a much more shared principle. When someone who is Chinese comes to Canada, they aren't expected to live the 'American Dream', they are more than welcome to live by their culture, without conforming to the average Canadian.

They have the same free healthcare as Australia but it isn't as good as the NHS in the UK, Canada is in the Commonwealth of nations, Canadian French has a different accent to French, Quebec was made because of a peace treaty between France and the UK (saying they are Canada's Texas is very incorrect, it's more like it's the UK's Ireland) and Canada has open borders to refugee's because it is vastly underpopulated. Oh, and long live the Queen of Canada. (say hi to Quebec for me)

I’ve been to Canada a couple of times , I live in ny state and have been to Montreal and Niagara Falls on the Canadian side. I have to admit, I never really thought too much about Canada, I’ve been hearing about it more lately and learning that it is more than what I always viewed it to be.

Canada is very rich. Me as a person that lives in US, the majority of the people think that everything outside the country is poor and rough. There are cities in Canada and from around the world that are richer, cleaner and safer, than american cities.

It's the truth! Americans barely know anything about Canada. You Americans all think Canada gets blizzards and snow 365 days a year. You Americans think all we do is drink maple syrup. You Americans think us canadians are so ignorant up here! 90% of this video is true and you don't realize this. The only thing wrong about this video is us Canadians hate our leader. This video is saying we don't.

@@LiberateAlberta1907 Corrections: 1) People from the border states know more about Canada than the rest of the USA. Probably because the CBC is obtainable with an antenna (e.g. channel 9 out of Windsor). Plus we visit more often (primarily to celebrate someone's 19th birthday), albeit not as much now that passports (cards) are required for reentry. I think the dude in the video is from Florida. 2) I've been to Toronto in January. Just as miserably cold as when I went to Minneapolis for a NYE party. People in the lower peninsula of Michigan also think that the UP has snow 365 days a year. 3) We don't think all you do is drink maple syrup. We think all you do is drink beer, hunt, and watch hockey (being played by bears vs. geese wearing jean jackets). 4) I've never met anyone who thought Canadians are "ignorant". Naive maybe, but not ignorant.

Ok this video kind of pissed me off. First of all we do NOT think of America all the time in fact the first time I though about America in a while was watching this video. Second: AMERICANS DONT HAVE MILK IN BAGS?? WHAT. Third: yes we have Spotify in fact it’s probably used more than Apple Music here. Fourth is this guy American because everything mentioned in this video is biased towards America. Fifth: Canada knows they have problems and attempts to fix them. We don’t pretend that there’s nothing wrong with our country. We know we have problems but work to improve them.
@glennmiller97686 жыл бұрын
+ C & K Slimes Why are you so wound up? This video was made in fun. The word funny is in the heading. Yes, the guy is American. You should have caught that in his statements. I don't agree with a number of things he said about Canadians but I like his humour. Notice how I spelled humour? I'm Canadian but I identify more with Americans. In many respects Canadians are wimps.

Americans can buy alcohol in grocery stores. Imagine going into Overwaitea and leaving with a sixer of Wildcat lol. I agree, of course, the guy is going to be biased. . . he's never even been to Canada. I will say you're wrong about Canadians not being pre-occupied thinking about America though. Maybe its different in other provinces, but in BC, America was always in the news and it's all people were talking about. Very nice people, but there was always a Canadian putting America down within earshot. On this point, Canadians are kind of pricks, but I guess it's understandable. Canadians are more proud of not being Ameican than actually being Canadian. In Vancouver, there was not a lot of love lost for anyone with French ancestry. One of the guys I worked with said to me (I'm paraphrasing. . .) "My daughter is dating this French guy, but he's actually really nice." lol I thought that was pretty funny. Overall, Canadians are more informed and definitely better educated than Americans. I had a great time there.

my house is made of petrified maple syrup and I have a beaver mote surrounding my property to ward off hungry polar bears and wolverines. My fridge is an igloo and I ride my moose to work Monday to Friday. I just recently got into a "sorry" fight with a stranger where we stood toe to toe for several days until he finally submitted and unfortunately died from dehydration. I went to his funeral and apologized to everyone several times but I still feel like it wasn't enough. My wardrobe consists of red and black plaid flannel shirts and denim jackets. I only eat poutine and pemale bacon. I drink strong beer and I AM CANADIAN
