The funny thing is that every time my father-in-law sees me, he has a new Canadian joke for me lol. My husband says, he wouldn't do that if he didn't like you so now i laugh along eh. So many people say they love Jim because he's a "clean" comedian, but I don't think that's really the essence of his appeal. I think it's that he's wicked smart behind an unassuming demeanor, part of a long tradition stretching all the way back to Will Rogers. Even Richard Pryor was like this, despite his saltier language--he also projected a a mild, sympathetic, non-aggressive persona. The antithesis of the rockstar, bigger than life presence that so many comics attempt.

Actually, the hockey season generally traverses the seasons of autumn, winter and spring....unless you're a Canadian team, then it ends earlier, unfortunately.
