Salem, MA is known for witches. Mystery Hill is in Salem, NH

I was just about to post something to that effect - different towns, different states. I suppose the confusion is understandable: we also each have a Walpole, a Bedford, a Springfield, a Concord, a Littleton, an Amherst, and who knows how many more. As far as I know, MA has the only Gloucester, and we've got the only Henniker.
@TheTee5231976 Жыл бұрын
@@lesnyk255I live in MA. I have my whole life. You're right. We do have many towns here that share the name as other towns in New England. We got many of them originally from European towns especially towns in England.

The crystal skulls are a hoax. I am shocked of no mention of Puma Punku. How can you cut stone using ancient tools while leaving no room to slide a piece of paper in between the stones?
@IrishMike228 ай бұрын
By sanding. It's very easy and still done today. The Baghdad "battery" has been debunked as a power supply by every scholar and institution to study it. All of this is for entertainment, nothing more. You won't learn anything here. The past wasn't mysterious-- it's just the past and we weren't there. There are questions but no "magical mysteries" so to speak.

Hi Mike ! I am a subscriber for a few time, and try to watch 1-3 episodes daily. Love all the different topics you dedicate to, well, all, except comics and Marvel maybe (sorry)! I'm a history, archeology, science and Arts buff. When do you turn to Arts, Arts History? Pretty please. Just one remark, the Crystal Skulls were debunked years ago, incl stories Anna Mitchell-Hedges told in a great variety throughout her life on how her father discovered one of them. Also the Salem story has a minor mistake, there exist two, one in MA then the other in NH. A little mixup :) Please keep up the great work, love intellectual videos to expand your horizon. ps/ Love also Empaths (I'm one myself),.

In his Encyclopedia of Dubious Archaeology, the archaeologist Ken Feder commented that the Ica stones were "one of the most transparent and absurd archaeological hoaxes ever perpetrated" and that they were "not the most sophisticated of the archaeological hoaxes discussed in this book, but they certainly rank up there as the most preposterous." How did you not realize that Mystery Hill is in Salem, NH, NOT Salem, MA, where the focus is on witches.

I first read of the natural nuclear reactor some 10 or 15 yrs ago in Scientific American. From what I remember, it was discovered when measurements of the relative abundance of uranium isotopes in the region showed anomalously low levels of 235, the fissile isotope used in reactors & weapons. It was thought that at one time, there was enough of the stuff lying around to spontaneously trigger a chain reaction. Ground water served as a moderator, slowing down decay products enough to be captured by nearby nuclei, which kept the reaction going. But the heat this process generated eventually caused the groundwater to boil away, at which point there was nothing to slow the decay products, most of which now flew by unabsorbed. This quenched the reaction. Once things cooled off enough for the groundwater to trickle back in, the reaction resumed. It's thought that this cycle might have gone on for thousands of years before the uranium was depleted. It's been a long time since I read the article, so I've undoubtedly misremembered many details, and have gotten some of them wrong. If anyone out there has more recent information, please correct me.

There is another wierd one in Broughton England called the witches pond that has baffled people too and in Warkton England there is a hidden secret called the stone moses where not many people know the location but its rumoured to move turning every so often and its been photographed at different times of the year at the same angle and it does look like it has moved about 5 to 10cm round roughly from where it was facing. We are not sure why or how x

When it comes to the Nazca lines, more often than not, we are only shown the animal glyphs. We are not very often shown the actual lines. And less often we're shown high quality images. Even from looking on Google Earth, it becomes very obvious that what is being seen, is a gigantic irrigation canal network with water storage tanks. The top layer was not simply scraped off as we are told. High quality images show that the canals are at least a couple feet deep, even today, despite being full of sand. Imagine what the area would look like if all of the canals were still fully functional. The animal glyphs, which are connected, would be highly visible with water in the lines. It would be a massive rainforest, full of food, just like the Amazon jungle. The larger rivers, are the water sources for the canals. The smaller rivers are where water broke over the tops of the canals and flowed across the land. The glyph locations are likely locations of former temples.

there have been alleged sightings of Little People here in Northern Ontario, Canada. witnesses say they're about 2.5-3 feet tall. they look similar to us, First Nations, but with soft facial features similar to Neanderthal's but not as prominent. they were always in a group and in single file. when they saw that they were spotted by an adult they scrambled but all were headed in the same direction and just seemed to disappear. when children had spotted them they carried on as they were but they picked up their pace. like they know children aren't a threat to them. our elders have said to leave them alone since they never bother us. a buddy of mine had seen them when he was a kid. while visiting his kookum (grandmother) in Gull Bay, he and his cousins were running on a trail in the bush and that's when he saw one of these Little People cutting across the trail. it saw him then spoke something and that's when he noticed that there was at least 10 of them in a line and they began moving faster. he never went into that bush again. i kinda believe him because he's an honest, stand up guy. he's never made claims like this before or since. his sister also believes him saying a kid can't fake that kind of fear. it was like he just saw the devil or something. then she began getting scared too lol he can't forget what he saw that day, what it looked like and she can't forget the look of fear on his face.
@isaiahach Жыл бұрын
i don't mean they literally disappeared. if they are real they're using their size and the kind of bush we have up here, very rough and very dense in a lot of areas, to their advantage. they can move around without being seen unless by chance

This is far and away the most disappointing video of yours I've ever seen. 1. The Ica stones were made by a local farmer to scam money out of the amateur archaeologist that discovered them. 2. Man E is just a mummy that people try to make creepy. 3. The "planes" were found in South America, not Egypt, and are clearly representative of an local and unusual native catfish. 4. The Loki belt buckle was just a typical religious icon, and not even close to unexplainable. 5. The hobbits were a race of early human ancestor and, again, not mysterious at all. 6. The wooden arm was just a fake arm, come on, man. 7. Finally, and most disappointingly, the crystal skulls have been repeatedly proven to have been a hoax and were made with modern machinery. They were made to scam people and cheat them out of their money. I never thought this channel would jump on the woo-woo, ancient alien bandwagon, and I sincerely hope you guys don't make another video like this again. I am extremely disappointed that your team made this, as you've been pretty straight until this video. You guys are better than this. I know y'all have to make a living, but a better title for this one would have been "25 Things People Try To Pass Off As Supernatural To Fool The Gullible". Good luck to you.
