After blopp wins a match as Dedede, we see he has 10.3 million GSP, just shy of the 10.4 that Jacob estimates is necessary to reach elite smash. blopp returns 12 minutes later now playing as Donkey Kong. Thus we can conclude that blopp got Dedede into elite smash and moved on to his next character, meaning he got more characters into elite smash in this video than Jacob did.

The only thing I can really think of is that you're sleeping on Charizard's neutral B. That can really rack up damage, especially in Free For All since you can hit multiple opponents with it, and in teams it stuns the opponent and your teammate can get in a good attack while they're stunned.
