fun fact: bruxish is based on a fish called the reef triggerfish, or the “humuhumunukunukuapua'a”. it looks just as stupid in real life, and i didn’t care too much about bruxish- until i learned this. in a little show called octonauts, they taught us about this fish, giving it a special place in my heart. does it look stupid? yes. is it a fish with teeth? yes. but i still love him.

Glaceon, Milotic, Gardevoir and Chandelure are peak Pokémon for me. I think it's the elegant designs and cries, as well as some personal attachment. Grew to love the Gardevoir line because it was my first Pokémon I caught miraculously, and the Airalin comics. Love Glaceon due to one my friend trading me back in Diamond that I still have (her name is Evoli; Timid nature). I also like the more lean and speed-oreiented 'mon, so Quilava, Pikachu, Sneazle, Buizel, etc are up there. Of course, Lucario, Lapras, Snorlax, Lopunny, Mawhile, Braixen, Torterra, Chespin, Emolga, Joltik, Staraptor, Sylveon, Luxray, Lillipup, Lunala, and Primarina, are up there as well.

Happy to see Avalugg get some love in this list, personally they're in my top 10 through sheer audacity alone being able to tank physical hits better than *fucking Steelix* for no good reason. I love my ice table. Also, if you care for competitive singles in any way, to those disappointed by Vikavolt's lack of speed I highly recommend running a defensive spread with Volt Switch, Bug Buzz, Roost and your choice of Sticky Webs, Toxic or Thunder Wave. It does especially well in Gen 8 OU for some reason. Personally I landed on an ev spread of 88 HP 196 Def and 224 Sp.atk with a Modest or Bold Nature, but I've gotten mileage out of 252 HP and def with 4 in Sp.atk with a Bold nature especially as a Kartana switch-in as Kart does ~20-30% max or ~50-60% once with knock off and you ohko with bug buzz unless they're either focus sash or assault vest, which they're probably not.

Idk I feel like Pokémon r different. Like I don’t feel any of that for Pokémon or Lola, but Pokémon especially r really emphasised as like a cross between friends and pets and I don’t want to fuck either of those, it just feels too weird and unhealthy for me to get into it so I think I get not liking that more than Lola who’s just a person outside of the anthropomorphism

Lucario is peak pokemon, but because gamefreak doesn't know how to cool it with the constant shoving him into anything pokemon related people tend to hate him for no reason. Lucario is awesome gamefreak just suck at handling anything popular really.
