He used* to be Hawk Hogan in spanish. Copyright happened in the remake and he now goes by Halcomán. Ironically that means Hawkman, a character owned by DC Comics

I love this remake so much but there are two tiny things I can't get over: the fact that audience members no longer do a silly little scream when you whack them, and there no longer being a sound to go with the roulette during battle

The audience actually use their talking sound when getting hit. It's not the generic scream that every audience member did in the original so I quite like it

Fun fact - the timing windows for power bounce were made *way* harder, specifically the fourth bounce has a timing window of only a single frame. all the windows before and after are reasonable, like around 9 frames, but specifically the fourth requires frame precision now.

3:50:07 Back in the original game mine was pink and I named it Spike. I can't remember why I chose Spike, maybe an npc said something at some point. I didn't find out until after I beat the game that there were 8 different yoshi colours you could get depending on when you came back to the locker room after the loss within a 20 minute cycle.

I didn't realize it was a timing thing for the color. I figured it was determined when you started the save file, like it might have to do with your seed. My original game I had green, but this time I got red, his name's Flareon :)

I think my favorite part about this play-through is the reaction to all the quality of life changes from the original game. perks thar i thought were normal were things that weren't available in the original, like fast travel. general white was way less painful than everyone perceived it is kinda crazy

@@CanOfDarkFruit Well no.Usually when I replay a game I am basically retracing every step I took the first time.I mean this time on the switch version I took the time to take the 100 pit challenge and beat bonetails but other than that my playthrough was exactly the same.
