definitely bring the Slaugh back as playables - it would enrich the game itself and the lore immensely by revealing just why the details of some crusades are redacted*. It would be rich ground for those of us who really love creating new chapters. More Lore means more small things and throwaway moments by Black Library which can be exploited for ideas and lines of enquiry that keep fans interested because I can tell you with 25 years of asociation the sloth of good lore points made it much harder to come up with ideas in the 90s when we would playtest custom rules and new inventions/units to amuse ourselves. Screw game balance, I want my marines to feel fear that no matter the gifts bestowed upon them by their geneseed the universe will always have a new trick up its sleeve and one day they will encounter something the Emperor couldnt account for and without his gifts of creativity... * (and yes, I just want to *know* the whole story before I die of old lol - no sense denying its a selfish desire)

Dam right they should be playable. But they would be part of a xeno death faction. Where the necrons are the 40k version of the tomb kings, the slaugh and company (krave) would be part of the vampire counts.
