My hat's off to you, I live in the city shown in the video. Finally someone who appreciates the mountain roads of Serra da Estrela. Obrigado Bernardo! I was going to ask where this was, but you’ve told me already. I’d already spotted Serra da Estrela on the map as a great place to visit. I agree, beautiful video and excellent review. I’m already a fan from Evo magazine.

chillyfly mainly n338 and n339. Early in the morning is the best time to escape traffic, specially on weekends! Though I advise to explore them after winter, snow is already falling strong, and most days , when it rains or snows, the roads are closed off, because of the heavy fog (very thick and actually dangerous, you can’t see your hands in front of your face ). Hope you have fun exploring them, I certainly do in my little mx-5!

I really liked my Alpine 110, especially after I had it tuned to a little over 300Bhp. However I still felt wanting for more power, so I sold it recently and put a deposit down on the new Alfa Romeo GT, not the GTAm as I still need a backseat, family and all. I love Alfa Romeo cars, I still own my SZ which I bought back in 94'. I also had a Alfa 4C, which was also tuned and had many custom parts that I sold to buy my Porsche GT4. So I'm really excited to have another Alfa in the garage. That being said, the A110 or A100s are still amazing cars, they're especially great for the family man who still wants a sports car but doesn't want the sports car limited space. What you'll notice first and foremost is how light the car is and how well the steering is. My only suggestions is get it tuned immediately, don't wait, in fact, the day you revive the car send it in as the car really need 300+ Bhp to be enjoyed to it's max. There are even new kits that will up the HP to over 340Bhp, do it, you won't regret it and will most likely keep the car longer. It should have left the factory with at least 340Bhp as far as I'm concerned, especially with how easy it is to do for next to no money.

I'm a fan of your videos for a while, ever since your crossed the Alps driving an F40. Bucket list stuff indeed. This film is very well shot and your insights about the Alpine and the way it carves the road up in the Serra da Estrela is trully inspired. It makes your national pride (the good kind) a tad prouder! But there's one serious flaw. After 4 hours of motorway, when you arrive in Seia, you have to go to a local restaurant and enjoy the local delicacies, namely the cheeses, the cornbread or the meat sausages. You are missing out, dear sir!
