very nice. I might get this for my 2014 , I had the 12.1 Phenix unit and man it was POS. so much stuff did not work right for almost 1000$ I paid. I send it back after many many hours of messing with settings and Facebook groups and custom FW. seems like alpine nailed it. At least you get customer support with this. Try getting support from China.. GL

This unit got poor reviews for very low resolution. Seems ok now. Can you order one without maps/nav? I want to use Apple car play and apple’s new GPS map system. Can you raise or lower the unit to your preference? Thanks

Would this work in a 2018 z71 Silverado? I mean I’m sure it will but would I have any issues? And would the unit fit flush in my truck or would it be sticking out like this one ?

Yes, we have installed a few in 2018 silverados, it cannot be flush mounted though, the look is to appear as a floating screen

I installed it in my 2019 4runner TRD Pro and it improved sound over my stock radio immensely. However, the Alpine media head can't magically make features appear that don't exist in your vehicle. I was able to get individual tire pressure readings, even though they're not displayed in the dash. That's because the car's computers capture that information. But I can't get beyond the fact that the 5th gen 4runner is a dinosaur. So the Maestro feedback to the Alpine unit is limited. The more modern your car is, the more info you'll see in the Alpine Halo9. To me, it's worth every penny.

Yes, you have to trick the stereo into thinking the trucks parked.

The HALO9 screen is 0.78" from Single Din Chassis...... Screen is 9.25" wide x 6" tall. Screen Display is 9" diag...

I think this will attract break-ins and theft. Does it have any anti-theft features? Also, for this price, I would want wireless Carplay included as a feature. Maybe the future model will have wireless Carplay. Does it include Siri EyesFree so you can use basic Siri audio-based features from the steering wheel controls over Bluetooth without plugging in the phone cable?
