Love the line. It's blended into the garden very well, even the raised sections are flanked by shrubs. Very good.

Thanks @robholmes2381 I’m glad you liked the line, I’ll pass on the compliments to the owner. It’s one of my local favourites - it fits into a tight and difficult space, what with the creek in the way, and yet makes the best of its that space and of its shaded position.

Well that would be one heck of an achievement if it happened in real life but this garden railway is magnificent!

@jonathanparie8429 If you’re familiar with the real-world terrain then you’re totally right - it would never be built! - but it’s fun to dream. Geoff has developed a lovely line and I’m so pleased you enjoyed it.

@@SteamInYourGarden I actually used to regularly go on holidays as a kid with my parents to Northeastern Victoria - we would always stop for a day or two at Myrtleford where an Aunt lived. The trains on the Bright to Wangaratta line ran regularly back then as you would well know - the line would remain open for more than a a decade hence. It was always fun watching them go by behind the motel. We would always go to Bright too. Fast forward nearly 60 years and I now live in the region because I loved it so much as a kid!!

@jonathanparle8429 It’s a beautiful part of the world! I hope you are able to head back that way one day soon.

What a fine steam journey...... very fun! To better relax and enjoy the fabulous greenery & scenery, I slowed down the video playback to 50%, and had a lovely excursion! ;-)

@ken.mp372 I’m so glad you enjoyed it! I do try to run at prototypical slower speeds but there was a fair bit of traffic on the line, as is often the case at our steam-ups. I have a playlist of a number of other videos with the camera mounted to the train so I hope you enjoy some of those videos as well.

@@SteamInYourGarden I meant no offense to your talents, I understand "traffic" completely, I didn't mean to convey a complaint at all..... the 50% trick is something I do almost out of habit simply to prolong my own enjoyment. I do enjoy your videos, and have been going back to previous ones and trying to view them in a chronological sequence. Thanks for posting some excellent videos!

@ken.mp372 Thanks, don’t worry no offence was taken! I was just reflecting on how much I enjoy slow running too. Many people don’t quite “get” the on-board shots but for me they perfectly place you on the train and within the landscape. Thanks for commenting and I’ll keep posting new videos as I much as I can.
