I'm also usually a 9.5 US and found the 9US fit perfectly. the 9.5 was a little too loose, even with thick socks.

We recommend to size down, so a size 42 should work.

Does anyone find it hard to shift gears while wearing these? Does it get easier once you break in the boot?

Do you? I'm looking at the chunkiness of these boots and started to suspect this problem from how it looks.

They arrived and that morning on my way to work I wore them. Could not find the shifter.....kept the clutch in....thought I was changing but same gear. By the end of the day, changing perfectly. Takes a little getting used to. They are comfy....not had a chance to try them in the rain yet.

I wouldn't recommend these, the upper on the left foot falls apart after 6 months from changing gear. Apart from that they'd be brilliant boots. Just no longevity.
