Hey yep they are very useful here's the link to a set of 4 amzn.to/3PJngA8 when you apply pressure do not turn it all the way or exert too much pressure (it can crack the back or create some bubbles between the glass and the plastic that give the color we have on our back glass) 👍

I would say it does. But don't count in 30mn like the device was in my water test video. To not risk it you can do 3 minutes to 5 minutes ( that should hold). I did a similar test after repair the device survived up to 7 minutes submerged completely in water. Parts also play a big role ( good quality parts and good installation should get you closer to 10 minutes submerged)

It's hard to say. I recommend avoiding water after any repair. You don't have or I don't have any machine to scientifically certify the water resistance rating so saying something ambiguous might be wrong and cause damage to the device. Samsung and other authorized stores have machine to certify and guarantee the water resistance. For a DIY it does not make sense to buy a new machine hundreds of dollars just to make sure scientifically it is water resistant ip68.

No you will need to do too much work to replace it. Remove the screen without damage then replacing the screen. It's easier to get a new screen that comes with the side panel or body then replaced everything. Remove all the part from your old screen body transfer to the new one.

Yes. You can replace it. I recommend changing the back as a whole. It's better because either way you'd have to remove the back to access the camera bezel.

This is not the correct installation process of the back glass for S22 plus. The flash diffuser also has the hole and pathway for the rear microphone which has been blocked by the glue and the camera bezel has a metal bracket at the back that needs to be transferred from the original back cover which re-enforces the connection between the back glass and camera bezel and also fills the gap between the camera bezel and the camera housing inside. Without that metal piece at the back of the camera bezel will make the bezel move and be pushed in when a pressure is applied at the back of the phone possibly damaging the cameras and causing the back glass to crack again.

I don't understand...do you understand what you are writing specifically in reference of the video. I used b7000 on the flashlight I did not add b7000 directly on the microphone hole. It was only around it. Also there's no hole on the back glass for direct contact with the microphone. Meaning it's fully closed and the mic is in a closed system picking up sounds while the back is normally closed! So even if you put glue on the mic hole I doubt there would be a difference since the mic has not been designed to pick up sound through a hole and this mic does not have this ability. The metal on the back glass this is very strange. There's metal on the new back glass I installed. There's a big double sided tape going around the metal piece on the back glass just to make sure it sticks more. Samsung does not do this which is actually better since the metal and aluminum are not bounded together mechanically only with tape. The metal piece you are saying on the back glass that goes on the aluminum does not exist there's no metal apart from the aluminum side of the back glass and there's not another metal that has a purpose to solidify or reinforce the connection between the aluminum side of the back glass and the glass side! This is why I started if you understand what you wrote or have watched the video understood the process or you are mixing something else.

I actually replaced a back cover of an s21 plus and yes there is a metal piece at the back of the camera bezel that needs to be transferred. The rear mic hole channels out through he outer edge of the flash defuser , it is clearly seen on the video that you applied glue in to that groove where the rear mic channels through. I don't need to argue with you on this as there are also other videos here in youtube that shows the proper way of doing this. It is just disappointing that there are tutorials like this that may end up being followed by others who do repairs.

Bro I don't disagree with you but you could have said it proactively. Your example is on the extreme side. Most people won't have their phone back broken to this level in the video. The simple fix is adding clear tape over the area that is mostly broken and that's it. This is easy....I did iPhone Back Glass replacement and that's dangerous!! Piece of glass everywhere this is easy. For iphones I wear eye protection but for Samsung phones it's not to that level!
