Picking The Devil's Eye is an American tune but the tune for Jack of Diamonds is Scottish in origin and is known over there as Robie Donadh Gorrach.

Jayson Eubanks my sentiments as well. I gave up " country/ western" music years ago. There is no soul left in this so called music these days. The old time tunes are the only ones left that interest me now. And there are still millions left to be heard.

I love how he immediately notices the couple bowhairs that give up the ghost once he starts cooking in "Picking the Devil's eye" but just goes "uh oh!" and keeps on chugging. Amazingly composed and so comfortable!
