Thanks Doug. I got the boiler years ago, never had anything to use it with until I got the 10H. Cheers, Alan.

I agree with you Alan. It's a joy to run these engines. Especially if its an engine you built yourself. I have a PM Research kit which I am about to start building. Similar to the Stuart engine. Just hoping all goes well with the build. Take care. Cheers Nobby

Nicely detailed engine Alan. That should drive some mobiles etc without much effort. It would be worth turning up a pulley for it. Cheers Rob

Hi Rob. Yes it's quite powerful. I have made several pulleys for it and had it driving various things in the past. One of my favourites 🙂 Cheers, Alan.

Be careful with the WD, being a penetrant it will work its way into any micro crack, fracture weakening the material worsening the crack or fracture every time it's used. I learned the hard way.

Never had any problem with WD 40.

I bought a couple of these off ebay with parts missing. I fabicated the missing parts and they run as sweet as a nut. I like the older castings as they are better quality, the newer ones have been pared down so much theres hardly any machining allowance left.

They are great little engines. Didn't know that about the different aged castings.
