Good information...need ah help i went through a fever since 4 days..at diagnostic centre gone through fever profile test...which includes malaria dengue typoid blood cultures..and etc...in that report everything was negative, but it showed ALT-59,AST-65... What that mean..can u pls let me know

It is noticed, if there is any liver problem seen like jaundice or hepatitis infection, patient may have mild fiver in the body whole day. As per your AST/ALT report, its showing inflammation occurred in the liver. So, simply you can do following tests to confirm it is due to viral infection or not. For that you can ask your doctor. > HBSAG > HCV Antibody test

it means you are a chronic hepatitis b patient. There is no cure for chronic condition as of now. But you need to follow up the treatment in every 6 months more or less depending on your liver condition or your doctor suggested.

Second thing, you are telling suffering from 1.5 years in hepatitis A, don't take it lightly. > Do regular execercise to boost your immune system. If you physically fit. Eat green salads, fruits, vegs. > dont take alcohol otherwise liver condition will be worsed. > Do regular exercise so that your ALT.ASt, bilirubin level will go down. If not done tell your doctor to give you medicine to make it normal. > One thing I am telling you, if you are not vaccinated then go for hepatitis b vaccine immedicately. Because already you have hepatitis A, this co-infection make your life worsen.
