I love that near the end when Joe sings in the background it's improvised (even on the record, to the point where none of them, not even Joe, knows what he says) however it's really frustrating not knowing the words because whatever he sings sounds absolutely gorgeous.

Cheney Ramos I think you pretty much nailed it! Can't argue with any of it... (Although I'm so susceptible to stuff like this, like on Ghost Hunters where they 'capture' some muffled noise on their hightech e.m.f wotnots and I think "What the hell is that supposed to be?"...but then they replay it with words up on the screen like 'so cold here' and I'm like "woah of course it is, how did I NOT hear that the first time".... Still, I reckon you got it spot on :)

Até porque o meu amar musical chega a lamentar as que não terei a oportunidade de ouví-las por causa da minha curta existência. Chego a sentir arrepios quando a ouço! Tudo que eu queria ao compor/ produzir uma música, é que alguém sentisse arrepios com a minha obra. Muitos querem dinheiro ou fama e acham que isso é o ápice. Penso que estão enganados! Só se atinge o ápice quando se faz alguém transbordar ao menos uma vez na sua música/ composição. Nessa eu sou líquido sem limites. Não só transbordo como não há nada que me retém!

I'm a really big fan of alt-J, but i find it weird that they're not able to bring a WOW effect in a live performance ... I mean... this song is a masterpiece, it's supposed to be loud AF, to be big, to be heavy and magnificent, it's supposed to get trough your fucking stomach and gets you chills... but live, i just see a bunch of nerds with no emotions

Hmm well if I may respectfully disagree, I don't think this song should necessarily be big heavy and magnificent. I think it's more of a tender slow-ish song that should be played in a very heartfelt manner. :-)

I saw them live for the first time after posting this comment, it was a very good show, voices and instruments we're very clean, i was not disappointed but i wish they would have play a bit louder at somes times... but ... the crowd .... my oh my, i never saw a bunch of disrespectful jerks like this, everybody chatting during slow song like Adeline ruining the whole thing
