The battery is a 18650 common to vaping devices. Replaced by battery last week due to short battery life, but there is a hitch. Mounted on the side of the battery is a long narrow circuit board that connects the pos and neg terminals. This board is under the blue plastic cover. The board is spot welded to the battery, but can be peeled off and soldered to the new battery. PS, this battery is also used in Ryobi battery packs.

I just took the charging port out, soldiered a wire each to the + and - then cut the charging chord and connected them to where the charging port was.. you can basically replace it with whatever you want though.. it's a simple hook up thank heavens

I’m having the same issue with the micro usb charging port, I’m having trouble actually getting to the usb in/aux/ usb out. What I basically want to do is solder a replacement, but I’m afraid to break the black box it’s in.

Abel Ibarra it's more simple than it looks to get it apart.. also, the solider contacts are NOT microscopic so it's pretty simple.. just go slow when taking it apart

@@michaellicavoli3921, I don't know prices but I would think Vape Stores are more expensive. Get the NCR18650B that Panasonic makes in JAPAN. The Chinese batteries don't last in LED flashlights so I don't think they will in these speakers either. Make sure you don't get a knockoff battery either. There are videos on here about how to tell the difference.

So I called the customer service number on the bottom of my speaker and told them that my charging port melted and whatnot I'm being sent a brand new one I suggest if you have the same issue you call them. By the way it's been several months since I purchased mine so the 30-day warranty was no longer valid but this still obliged and sending a new one

The CRICKET phone store IN SAN ANTONIO where I had purchased a CELL PHONE PLAN and ANDROID phone LG ( 3O -49 $ PHONE ) TOLD ME THAT I HAD TO PURCHASE A NEW PHONE FROM THEM AS THE PHONE FROM THAT STORE WENT BLACK AFTER 3 WEEKS. AND WAS GIVEN A PHONE NUMBER FOR WHAT WAS CALLED THIRD PARTY WARRANTY. ALL I HAD TO DO WAS MAIL BACK LG PHONE FRONT ONLY AND I RECEIVED A WORKING ONE. THEY PAID FOR SHIPPING. THE LADY AT FED EX STORE SAID THE COMPANY FOR WARRANTY REQUESTED THAT I FACTORY RESET THE PHONE BEFORE MAILING IT ???? WAS THAT A TRICK QUESTION ??? I TOLD HER I COULD NOT RESET THE PHONE BECAUSE IT WOULD NOT TURN ON. HA HA. NEXT STORE DIFFERENT PHONE DIFFERENT SERVICE... PHONE SCREEN LG CRACKED AFTER 8 DAYS. TO BE CONTINUED AS THE UNIVERSE BRINGS BETTER ANDROID PHONES WITH MORE STORAGE AND APP SPACE ! THE CANERA ON THE LG PHONE HOWEVER DOES TAKE GRÉAT PICTURES AND VIDEOS. THE PHONE IS WORTH IT FOR THE CAMERA BUT I CAN NOT INSTALL APPS ON THE LG ARISTO 2 ANDROID PHONE .INTERNAL STORAGE FULL EVEN WITH 64G STORAGE CARD ! TODAY SO FULL THE PHONE TELLS ME I CAN NOT RECEIVE MESSAGES. I USE THE PHONE FOR PICS...VIDEOS AND KZbin MUSIC. Well, it looks just like mine, same size, but must be an older model. Mine has the 4 screws in back, none up front, and a thick gasket seperating the 2 halves, but it appears to be glued... My power button is non functional...
