+Christian Campbell Incorrect, he's been writing it since 2009 at the latest. There are many sources to support this, and I can provide links for you when I get home (sorry, at work at the moment). I didn't discover him until 2010, so that was the first I heard of it. He and Slash also spoke about how Slash came in to record some guitar parts for a few tracks around then too. And he actually finished recording his last vocal on the album late 2015. He posted to his Twitter and Instagram about it at the time. Feel free to prove me right. So please, save your calls for "bullshit" for someone who doesn't know what they are talking about.

Around halfway in he discusses having finished most of the songwriting on his solo album BEFORE Slash contacted him in 2009. He also mentions his desire to release it in 2012, but that part was possibly a joke. Actually it is a big difference, because you stated that he only began working on it this year, when in fact he had completed it well before the year even began. And what does officially announced mean? Doesn't Myles Kennedy himself directly stating that he is writing/recording an album count as official? If not, then he technically still hasn't officially announced it, because no album title or release date has been provided. It's literally no more or less official than before, the only difference is the recording has now been completed. Besides, my first comment didn't make any claims about official announcements. I just said I have been waiting for the album since I first found out about it in 2010, and you tried to call "bullshit" on that. Alter Bridge began writing/recording their album early this year, are you trying to say that it was impossible to have been waiting for the album since then because they didn't official announce it until July? Whichever route you want to conjure up, your argument falls apart. At least have the decency to admit that you clearly didn't do your research before trying to discredit someone else.

I'd hoped that by late 2017 we'd see Myles Kennedy solo album. I remember them talking about wrapping recording sessions in August 2015. I wonder if Slash and the Conspirators' 2017 tour is going to feature partly Slash's solo work and solo work from Myles.

Busy guy. The slash gig was cool and they have some solid music but honestly I'd rather see him focus on Alter Bridge and his solo record. Alter bridge to me is much more artistic and you can really hear myles' input. Plus, we've been waiting for this solo record for years!
