i am slowly becoming obsessed with catherine lacey and this was amazing, she has so many interesting perspectives on things that i really love. i think that biography of x has come at a perfect time in my life and i have been seriously changed. i'm also going to immediately check out all the books she recommended, haha. one other random thing though is that she mentioned near the beginning of this talk that she originally wanted to write a real biography about someone before getting discouraged by a teacher or something which had led her to the fictional biography-- but now i'm just so intrigued on who that person was that it would be a disservice/difficult to write a biography about!
