Thank you for your lovely presentation about Hungary, from the Polish Mapping Central. There is a definitive message here about our Country. The Historical borders change but eventually it regains itself again and again. I found the term "the Kingdom of Hungary under Russian Protectorate", a very interesting heading, I wonder what is the story behind this statement. I am almost saying that history is about to repeat itself, even our Roumanian friend remarked "this is how mapping works". No doubt about it the Poles and the Hungarians understand each other.

The amazing thing about the video is that you can never know what will be the final outcome Victory in the Spring of Nations? Russian ally/puppet? A member of Mitteleuropa? A part of liberal-democratic world? Then a surprise with the Arrow-Cross episode. Then we are surprised with the teritorrial loss. Then there is a part with Fidesz. We can make a great case for Romania , and that the teritory belongs to Romania , but as history showed us , military might is the law , a clash with Hungary would be the nail in the coffin for a weakened Hungary . We’ve been co-existed and cooperated since the beginning of our common history, and despite some clashes between nobilities and peasants on both side, we’ve never been enemies. Not until some hatred erupted and it went into war. I’m so sad thinking about what we could achieve if we remained under the same roof, with friendly participations from both sides, or even if just a trade-deal, and friendship pact would have been signed... our ancestors, who fought bravely against foreign invaders, side to side, are spinning in their graves. Jeśli chodzi Ci o to jak tutaj wygląda historia Polski to tak pokrótce: Lata 20 oraz 30 zdominowane są przez wpływy Niemieckie, z kolei następnie z racji że Polska nie zostaje krajem socjalistycznym rozwija się ona na równi z Zachodem, dzięki czemu jest na poziomie dzisiejszej Belgii powiedzmy. Fakt faktem, na skutek wojny domowej w Imperium Osmańskim po 1992 stopniowo do władzy dostali się prawicowi populiści, stąd Polska jest krajem autorytarnym ale dosyć zamożnym.

Why is Russia supporting the revolutionaries? Russia wanted to maintain relations with Austria and they knew a successful Hungarian revolution, especially one supported by themselves, would lead to revolutions within it's ethnically diverse empire. Russia had no reason to intervene on the side of Hungary and every reason to aid Austria.

Yes, I have read about the Holy Alliance and it was obvious, that Russia would intervene to save Austria. But I had to make a scenario, where Tsar for whatever reason prefers to seize Galicia for himself to make this alternate history more interesting.
