Yeah I actually enjoyed that Batman but I hope the version of Arthur Mera is talking about in the end of Zack Snyder Justice League is by having the AquaMan with the missing hand and the explanation being that it was cut off by Superman versus his original self where his hand was fed to Piranhas.

Aquaman has always been one of my favourite super heroes. I've been defending this guy since I was 10, and I'm glad to see him finally step out of the parody and into the spotlight. I was very disappointed with how he was portrayed in Justice league with how weak they made him. He was just tosses aside by both Superman and Stephenwolf. He was a joke yet again. The trailers for his stand along movie look really good and I hope they treat him with the respect he deserves. He's truly a really bad ass character and deserves far more than his reputation.

I don't know. That whole flying on top of a Parademon but was badass. If anything, I thought he was on par (or slightly lower) with Wonder Woman.

@@jackychang9148 Who was under represented. She was simply swatted away as well. These are two people who have gone toe to toe with Superman on multiple occasions and even beaten him a handful of times in the comics. In the movie they charge at him and he literally backhands Aquaman half a block away. Wonder Woman didn't fair much better either.

@@Saimeren I'm pretty sure they were holding back since he's in the "brought back to love" craze. And there's also the fact that they survived with none to very minor injuries (can't say that about their pride though). And keep in mind, they're pretty much fledglings in the DCEU so far. If they were in a rpg, I'd rate Aquaman as lvl. 35, Wonder Woman as lvl. 35-38, Steppenwolf as lvl. 42, and Superman as lvl. 60. (Keep in mind, I'm only using these numbers for comparison. They're not exact.)

@@jackychang9148 Wonder Woman has been doing this for over 100 years. She was trained by the best warriors on the planet and became one of their strongest. Aquaman had just acquired armor and weaponry from the Atlantian armory which would have boosted his durability and ability to fight. Atlantian weapons are generally enchanted with magic. We see this when he uses the trident (Pentadent) to stop the surge of water in the tunnels. Aquaman can't control water on his own. He generally uses his Tridents to do so. I still think they should have been able to take him on a little better than what they did.

My favorite Aquaman is the one from Justice League: Unlimited cartoon. There was an earlier TV show called the "Man from Atlantis", and it was played by Patrick Duffy.

The movie was a load of shit. terrible sequencing, poor choice of music. their armor and the graphics were amazing, but the story (piecing together and "flow" - pun intended) was juvenile. Can't believe i went to sea Aquaman.

I love Sea King's design, but all I know about him comes from his short appearance at the end of JL: Trinity War and the LEGO DC Super Villans game. I'm also a fan of the Injustice and Flashpoint versions. I don't suppose in a future episode we can get alternate versions of Black Manta, can we? I think he's a pretty cool villain.

Actually, the Drowned isn‘t really an alternate version of Aquaman either. She‘s an alternate version of Batman who gave herself certain powers to survive underwater. There was an Aquawoman in that universe though, but I honestly don‘t remember much about her.

This video is a bit misleading, because New 52 did not invent the Half-Atlantean origin for the main comics, that happened ages ago. Regardless, I love me some Aquaman. Emperor Aquaman is my favorite alternate version, as he showcases to everyone just how powerful Aquaman is by removing his heroic qualities.
